You could see all the evidence there is and the conspiracy people would still go at it. Oh that's an actor going into the school, or, that tape was doctored.

Remember the two guys in LA that shot up the police with body armor and full automatic weapons. There was tape of that yet search this site for threads about it and you will see it didn't hold back anyone from coming up with all sorts of crazy ideas.

Basically, seeing evidence does nothing but give fuel to the fire of those that do not wish to believe what they see.

Your point is valid, but that is not to say that a little bit of proof might not quiet down many of those speculating... even if it won't quiet them all. As was mentioned-- take a look at columbine. Are there people out there who think there was some conspiracy involving columbine? You bet there are. Are there tons of them? Not by any stretch of the imagination. This is a very small, fringe group speculating this....

9/11, I believe, is a whole other ball of wax and can't necessarily be compared to how columbine went down. 9/11 does, on the other hand, share some similarities with sandy hook-- namely that there were seemingly conflicting facts reported in the media, by different outlets at different times, leading to more questions than answers, and that it was massively sensationalized. I don't recall that happening with columbine. Sure, it was sensational for a minute-- but facts were given, tapes were released, questions were answered, and that was "The End" in most peoples' books.

The way Sandy Hook was handled in the media (as well as release of information by officials) was very unusual, and was itself a big part of what got people talking and speculating. With a dramatic, sensational event, people will speculate in the absence of information. The authorities and the media are well aware of this simple fact of human nature-- which alone makes their handling of the story very suspicious to some...

Show me some major, sensational newsworthy events like this where 911 and / or surveillance tapes were not released at all, ever.... (They even released some of that stuff for 9/11 albeit highly selectively. Pentagon tapes, anyone?)
