US and Germany against arming Syria

I found this line amusing from Kerry

Because stopping the rogue state from performing Air strikes in Syria is wrong
hopefully the Russians give the one finger salute and carry on with their sales

the only Risk Johny Boy sees is the Risk to Israeli aircraft when they try enter the sovereign air space of their neighbors

it seems its only OK for France, UK and friends to arm fanatical Muslims who have already stated they affiliated with al qaeda

I was watching queation time last night (basicaly were politicians from our 2 main partys and a 3rd party plus some other influential people sit on a pannel and awnser the public quetions)

And a number of questions involved the fact the UK is gearing up to arm the rebels. The main queation was why are we giveing the rebels weapons when half of them seem to aligned to Al Quida? And the fact that the rebel that ate the heart of one of his kills was not even Al Quida so why do we even want to arm them?

Well the anwser was that Assad is evil (no explination of why the rebels will be any better than Assad?) and that we will only arm the good rebels.

Next queation was how do we know what a good rebel is and how do we know those weapons wont fail into bad rebels hands?

errr again they dont know.

Least with Assad it is a case of the devil you know......

I dont think anyone gave him the memo that the cold war ended in 1991
