Just reviewing the McCarthy-era propaganda video in the OP again.
It reminded me very much of threads made a few years back on the Taliban and pedophilia.

I think Google search results are not worthy of posting again, but lets just say that religious groups who have sects in glass houses shouldn't throw rocks.

Even more obviously the whole religious facade hardly focuses on normal heterosexuality, especially not visually.

That seems to concur with my suspicion that fanatical homophobia hides or detracts from very obvious homo-eroticism and unhealthy and dishonest attraction.

I'd say it's a cornerstone of fascism.
So open homosexuality is denied at all costs.
But Islamist material is intensely male-male fantastical and homosocial.
It's not uniquely so, and not obviously so to straight men.
However, there must be something intensely unconscious going on that's like an attraction to that milieu.

Yes, I am talking about the non-believing secular Jews. I am quite aware that the religious Jews oppose homosexuality.

Why are they doing this? What do they hope to achieve by manipulating peoples attitudes on homosexuality?

I don't think "anti-gay" means the same as "antisemitic" at all.

Anti-gay is more just a factual description to me, such as: "Some verses in the Bible instruct that a wife who was not a provable virgin at marriage must be stoned to death, and some verses are also anti-gay."

That's a neutral and factual description.

A more radical tone would use the terms "homophobes" or "homophobia".
I try to use them sparingly these days.

But the true homophobes and antisemites do sometimes exist.

Maybe they hope to help bring people out of the dark ages. Maybe they hope to help end biogtry against homosexuals. Maybe they hope to educate anti-gay people on the fact that homosexuality is a normal aspect of the animal kingdom - which humans are a part of. Maybe there isn't some 'nefarious plot and they just aren't hung up on who is gay and who isn't like bigots are. Who knows.

I certainly wouldn't deny that they do. Real terrorists exist too. But I wouldn't accuse everyone who looks suspicious a terrorist just because the existence of real terrorists makes it easy to do.

At any rate. I am well aware of the homophobes. They're going to think and feel what they choose to and there's nothing I can do about it.

And my point is the left is exploiting minorities here just as they always do. Blacks, Jews, women, gays. Whatever. I think you are deliberately trying to confuse natural social evolution with "manipulation" because you don't like the way your society is evolving and you want to blame a group of people for it. The fact is, society changes, it always has, media then reflects those cultural changes, and society evolves again...

There is a fundamental morality within people that doesn't need instruction from a religious group. People generally know right from wrong, and they know that denying other people freedom is wrong, THAT is why society is changing. People are seeing that their views are not minority views, that millions of others outside of their closed religious group feel the same way about individual rights as they do, and they are fighting the bigotry from within.

The internet is the most powerful force for social change right now, not some TV channel and not some Jewish made show. News and media sharing across the world has opened up the larger society of Earth to previously closed communities, and giving them information to come to better conclusions about religion, rights and who gets to tell others how to live.

That is what is causing so much change. Will and Grace might have influenced a teenage audience to be more open and accepting of others, but it wouldn't have had any effect on a closed religious community like the Internet can.

And you know, this has pretty much been proven by several countries that want to restrict internet access for their people. That's because they know that information is power.

Instead of looking at these people and wondering, as a scientific minded thinker would: what makes these people so talented? What is it about their historical evolution as a people that primed them so well for intellectual pursuits? Was it the intellectually stimulating study of the Talmud, which they made mandatory for all men, which has made their brains more 'attuned' to the intricacies of science?

Yes, the Jews are a smart bunch of people. I'm not denying that.

However, Jewish intellectual brilliance is not what this thread is about. As you can see, its got to do with Jewish industry leaders manipulation of the masses via their media.

You are looking at liberal jewish Americans maybe, whom do not build their worldview in great part from the tora, just like liberal christian Americans have the same live and let live approach.

The people whom are more tolerant are the ones whom put their religious background at a comfortable distance. Try to go to the bible belt, or to Israel and see how modern and liberal the orthodoxs are.
