Hello from another Michigander. Love it here.

Drove to and from a meeting last evening and rather than freeway it took backroads. Over an hour of forest and farmland and very little traffic.

Loving the weather lately

Where the heck is Mid-Michigan anyway. We have Lower Michigan and Upper Michigan....

..Maybe that is Mackinaw Island.

Technically I am not sure were MId-Michigan is, but they (msm) refer to it as the Saginaw/Bay City/Midland area

Funny, cause the local news out of Lansing refers to that area as Mid-Michigan. So I would guess it is the area from Mt. Pleasant to Jackson, and across to both sides.

Although, St. Louis claims they are the "Middle of the Mitten"

lol, honestly I don't know then. I have no facts to back it up. I moved to a one horse town for middle/high school that claimed to be the "heart of the thumb". They had it painted on the billboard coming into town, so it had to be true.
