My kitty got outside over the night, via a cracked open window.

I live in the woods, but at an apartment complex.(Olympia Washington)

She is 7 y/o and until now 100% indoor,so she isnt well versed in outside life.

Any suggestions on what I can do to get her back?

I have a plate of tuna, and one of her blankets outside for her to get a sense of a familiar smell.

Hopefully she'll go back to where she went out.
Leave the window cracked and the tuna on the sill.
Being new to her surroundings she'll most likely be spooked and come back.

Wish you luck.

Pocket laser...you know the red dot animals go crazy for.

Well I've never tried but I'm sure it would work if your cat sees the dot.

I wish you good luck on getting her back, I know exactly how you feel.

Why is this in the joke forum?

Just walk around calling her.
All my cats always came when they were called.

Actually better than my dogs ever did

A neighbour could already have her in their house too....if she doesn't come when called.

Because I need cheering up,and I believe that laughter is the best medicine.

Ouch. She's right at the age to become a party girl. Just one of
those growth spurts. I don't think the party will last long-- calicos
are almost always homebodies especially if they weren't wild first.
Spot was a real metrosexual 30 years before the term became cool.
She'll be back, for no other reason than a regular brushing out.
"What are these cocklebOWW! MOM!!". peace, love, quilt. And BONKERS

Your kitty will be fine.

Cats sometimes go on a walkabout. Never think your kitty cant adapt to the outside, as that is their natural habitat. It doesnt make a difference if they never set one paw out there. They adapt very quickly. At some point, most all cats find their way outside because they want to. I also had a cat who never set paw outdoors for nearly 5 years, and then one day he bolted outside and stayed out there for a year or more. We could never get him in the house but he would sit in my lap when I went outside to smoke. After some time, he just didnt like it indoors anymore. One day, over a year later, he decided he didnt want to be outside anymore and came in like nothing ever happened.

One of our other cats decides to explore every now and then but always ends back up at the door the same night or the next day, sometimes a couple of days later.

In short, no fear, your kitty is just catching up. He'll be back.

Aww, she's so adorable.

If she comes over..

I'm keeping her.

Hope you find your cat.

My poor baby still has never came home.

And he would always come by name.
