Yes It's completely true.
And also a bit sad. Especially for the advertiser on the linked Front page.

River back to normal

Test results taken Tuesday and Wednesday show fecal coliform bacteria levels dropped quickly after the spill, which started about 8:35 a.m. and ended about 2:45 p.m. Tuesday.

“It’s near the normal range as of (Wednesday), and we expect it to be back in the normal range (Thursday),” Hartye said Thursday afternoon. “Levels are likely even lower today.”

This makes you wonder what "near normal" levels are.

If you live in Tennessee be careful. That's probably not a brown trout.

I wondered that too. And where are they making the measurements?
They did have a lot of rain apparently. So the French Broad is being washed by mother nature.

But the headline...jeesh...I guess the locals give it no second thought when they hear "French Broad"

The funny thing is I am a local.

I've always stayed away from ole Frenchy. Now more than ever.
