Welcome back to the land of the Big PX Beez!

Just a bit of advice from one who has been there and done that. Always try to set aside a little for Tri-Care and Delta Dental. Those medical and dental bills will pile up faster than you think. Especially since you have family.

As for the hair, don’t go to a barber with long hair asking for a trim…they’ll wack it off! Been there, done that as well. Go to a stylist. (You might want to stash a bit aside for that as well as they are expensive)

Be patient with the VA and make sure that you document EVERYTHING! Keep a copy of your records in a secure location for yourself. Having all your ducks usually help speed things up. Usually...

I'll be checking into the VA as soon as I get back, just to make sure everything is in order. I have a buddy who's a patient advocate for the VA. He's going to walk me through things and kick down doors if he has to.

Got my hair cut today. Old habits.
