Saw this on twitter, found a news post about it.

NEW YORK (WABC) -- A source at JFK says a suspicious package was being boarded on to a plane Sunday afternoon. A bomb squad was called in, but they have not cleared the package yet. Stay with 7online as more information becomes available. ---
