Meteorite in Argentina Last Night !

Happened last night, will update if possible.

Raw translation :

Very interesting, so thank you for the post, OP.
There are so many 'distractions' taking place at the moment and very few are noticing the state of the planet and the increase in meteor activity.

S&F Op. Wow, that was a huge light. The people were a lot calmer than I would have been. I wonder if anyone knows where we are located in our solar system. I am aware our whole system rotates, but often wonder what type of timeline are we presently in or if any scientist has ever figured it out? Thanks Op. Great catch.

Cool. I had a dream a couple nights of a meteorite. I made this happen

I had a dream 2 nights ago that I left a basketball arena with a my parents after a win. We are walking through the parking lot and notice a car's windshield and passenger side frame are smashed in. Still resting in damaged area was a meteorite about the size of a watermelon. I grab the meteorite and we hustle outta there. Later, I have it appraised and am told it's worth $43 million.

Can't wait for that to come to frution!!

Very convenient timing, considering that we are entering into a very active meteor shower over the next few days, the Lyrid's Meteor Shower which has gone viral as being "the rarest kind." Actually, it is an annual event, with nothing notable this time round..

But this OP combined with the MANY other impressive fireballs worldwide, and of course the incredible impact in Russia, all together have me a bit ill at ease about the upcoming shower.

Let the fates deal the cards, I suppose.

Worst footage ever

These meteors are popping up everywhere these days, I just had one come in in front of my car in December when I was driving on the highway.

Nostradamus predicted in his preface to ”Quatrains”:

”This is why, before and after these revolutions in various countries the rains will be so diminished and an abundance of fire and fiery missiles shall fall from the heavens that nothing shall escape the holocaust.”

Being a good person, that is underestimated these days.

Correct about what?

If you are referring to Chelyabinsk, that was a whole order of magnitude (or two) larger than this recent event over Argentina, and events of that scale are "once in a lifetime".

Events like this Argentinian fireball are much more common - hardly a revelation.

You are right though about fireball class events being unpredictable in general, although as I pointed out here there are at least some researchers who think there is evidence to support this time of year having a higher frequency of fireballs than at other times of year.

On a personal level an event like the one over Argentina would be considered a once in a lifetime event.
