Hi everyone.

Just thought I'd use the intro thread to... Introduce myself.

I'm a massive, long time lurker of these threads, always thought of joining. What pushed me past just thinking was my wife (normally a theory sceptic) and I joining the Ride that was the "Shooting at MIT (And continued events in Boston 18-19 April)" Thread... We were seriously transfixed. All that got done was feeding, changing and playing with our daughter... And that was in shifts.

Anyway. I'm a 26 year old dad from outer Sydney. I work, a lot and hard, in a warehouse. I'm married to a beautiful (albeit naive) woman. Big music fan. I've been following alt theories and news for about 10 years. I'm a strict vegan (don't hate me) I do that for my love of animals and just the lack of desire to eat any of their products. Big fan of comedy and drama coming out of America at the moment. Everyone says its mind numbing, I say, viewed from the right perspective, enjoy what you enjoy.

Uh, that's about it. Re-reading the MIT shooting thread at the moment, then I guess I'll start making an input.

Oh. Some of my favourite topics before I go. 9-11, intelligent life (there's hardly any on earth so my fingers are crossed), NWO speculation.. And many others as I'm sure you'll notice..

That's it for now,

-TheFifth

Welcome to ATS and buckle up for your descent down the rabbit hole.

I see you've choose the red pill!

I was absolutely riveted to the same thread while all of this was unfolding.

Hope you enjoy your stay here.

Blessings,
Cirque

Thanks Cirque!

Seriously that thread was amazing, we had the scanners playing, our "best" MSM news playing (literally hours behind until the end) and the iPad refreshing every 10 seconds to keep up. What we saw there was actual news being reported promptly. Although I hated the events, I loved how well this community stayed on it.

No such thing as a Newb from Aus. We're all old sticks in the mud down here. It's the rest of the world that is new. But we let them believe they're older and so that way they leave us alone

welcome

im hoping you will start a thread on vegetarian cooking, your input would be awesome.
it has been suggested to me that we should consider being vegetarians, but being bought up in the traditional Aussie home where meat and 3 veg is the norm, im having a hard time finding recipes that will replace the meat. i cant just have one dish, for some reason my brain thinks its starters
and ive heard its not good to eat fish everyday, something about mercury poisoning or something.

anyway welcome to you and your wife

Love and harmony

Oh I'd love to do that sometime. Honestly for three months after going veg I ate instant noodles*... And that's all. Being forced to find something new opened me to a plethora of cool stuff. Cooking has become a massive hobby since then.

* I do not endorse an instant noodle diet. Nor does the human body. Lol.
