Having a friend who defected from Russia, I can tell you from his experiences that you won't last very long there.

I predict, and will have proof when it happens, that you will be back to the USA, and you WILL kiss the ground when you get back -- IF you get back.

(though quite why the US government would want to go around bombing their citizens escapes me),

I'm waiting and watching.. I'll give it longer than a few weeks.

Citizens having guns when America (proper) is gone is dangerous.. They push gun laws and have tanks for that.

I think Russia is actually working with the U.S. Russia and China are hard to figure, but I don't know.. We all know where Iran and NK stand.

Having Friends IN Russia I hear very different story.... Also, "Defecting" from Russia? Is there even a such thing as a "Russian Defector"? I know we allow people to defect from nations we are either at war with or deem "inhumane" and we DID allow defectors from the Soviet Union, but Russia? This would be the first I have heard.

Russia is going through a major cultural change and an economic growth period/boom. They seem to me to be in a spot like the USA was in during the early 1900's (freedom wise) and seem to have far more freedoms than we do here (and far less of a "police state")-

Yes, its a little "rough" in places (like there was still a "wild west" here in the early 1900's) but everything I hear makes me wish I too, were in Russia. Russia is an "up and comer" as the USA is slowly falling into ruin and fascism. As things get worse here, things get better there.

-Our poor and middle class currently are "better off" (financially) here. But that is changing and it will soon be the other way around. The Mob is pretty big into everything in certain cities (much like it was here n the early to mid 20th century) but personally I would rather deal with a Loan Shark than a Credit card company, I would rather take the gambling Odds given by the Mob than by "Vegas" etc,etc,etc,

Russia can be dangerous, but go walk the streets of Detroit or parts of S Side Chicago (Russia isnt near that dangerous ANYWHERE)- And Russia is HUGE. Everything from massive Cities to remote wilderness. There are places to work in Siberia where you work/live there for 10 or 15 years (cannot remember) in these massive mines and then are given a home anywhere and a pension and able to retire after 15 years of work (with a very nice r package) since they cannot get enough people top relocate to those regions to do the work.

-Anyhow, sadly Russia has strict laws concerning working in their nation. After the collapse of the Soviet Union they took pretty much anyone (especially skilled labor and tech people) but that is changing. They now are changing the laws since the workforce is becoming better trained and skilled.

-Believe the rhetoric and propaganda if you wish- OR contact some of the Ex-Pats living and working there NOW and ask them- As I said, I Currently HAVE friends (and family) who live there and 15 years ago I had an opportunity to go- I declined. I believed the propaganda and thought of grey skies and KGB agants tracking me while the Russian Mob shakes me down- The ones who went do NOT ever want to come back to USA beyond visiting family. They LOVE it there.

-There are entire Forums dedicated to EX-Pats living abroad including in Russia. You can get the truth from those boards since people will tell stories about everything from their daily life, where to meet others from your country, places to avoid, problems, etc...people post who have even done small work stints abroad and have went "home" so it isnt like the KGB is watching over the shoulder of the people telling their stories.

If his "proof" is that he knows in this time period there will be more "attacks" then if there are actually more "attacks", I'll say he has proved himself.

While one part of me would like to think that the Boston incident was just what it appeared to be, ie., two brothers on a mission of their own, I do find some things questionable about it. For example, why did they hang around, where did they get the funds ect. I feel they may have hung around because they may have been under the impression they would be safe as per a higher up gave them that impression. Possibly the same higher up they got the funds from. These of course are my own speculations.

What that has to do with this thread is the fact that I also found is curious that the recent Texas explosion happened in not only the same time frame give a day or so, but the fact that it is so close to Waco and that the Waco anniversary is the day we also caught the Boston bombers. Coincidence? Hmmm ok, probably, but alibit a odd one. All eyes on Boston for the most part, and even though a good part of that is over, the chatter on Texas is Still pretty quiet.

I agree with the OP, something is definitely in the wind and of course time will tell just where it all goes.

For me personally though, I dont think running to Russia would be my first choice. I am American, and I will stand by my country through the good the bad and the ugly because many have fallen to earn me that right to do so.

Everything comes out in the wash eventually... I highly doubt I will be shocked about many things that do come out. How we get there will be the question.

I think he is correct but I think its just a logical deduction.

The media hyped this- Copycats will probably happen. Some nutjob somewhere has been planning something and this was the catalyst that lit his fuse. I would be surprised if something doesnt happen withing the next 2-4 weeks based on past events.

-Things are scary as hell out there and moving faster and faster- Amazing to think that our "Batman" shooter trial hasnt even started and we have had how many "new" massacres to deal with making it all but forgotten. Compare to the the Charlie Manson Murders which were major news, daily stories and had the public glued to the events for literally years- How far we have fallen. =(

Hey, we always get these DOOM on such and such a date and we go with it.

The opening said the proof will be in the next 2-3 weeks, so what is the harm in waiting. If you can't handle the doom porn, don't read it.

Is your source just the DHS report that it begins with the metals meltdown? Technically (chartwise) that was quite predictable without inside information ( www.abovetopsecret.com... ). In addition the metals are a precursor to economic activity and will usually sell off before the stock market (leading indicator). The implication is that we are going to have a severe economic contraction even tho it is in the best interests of bullion banks to knock them lower.
