I've tried approaching this this from a logical standpoint. I truly have. I can understand the media hype surrounding the events of the shooting last night. It brings in ratings which we all know is the life blood of any news agency. But what I totally fail to conceive is 9000+ officers, troopers, military, ATF, FBI....etc implementing a lock-down on 7.5 million people over a nineteen year old who, to my knowledge, has not been identified to my satisfaction as being one of the "Boston Bombers". Even this mans (AKA 2nd suspect in white hat) Aunt is asking for more proof.

This whole thing has gone off the rails and the people in lock-down are terrified! Does it make sense to essentially close down an entire city and surrounding area to capture someone who (even though may be a criminal/terrorist) only has enough knowledge to use such low tech devices such as a pressure cooker bomb?? I mean WTF? Seriously!

I know the "system" better than that and I could not imagine the money being lost today alone, in Boston. Let alone the fact that it has been said that this could go on all weekend. What?? People need to work to survive!

This does not make sense to me!

I think what I am witnessing on MSM is that THIS may be EXACTLY what I am suppose to see and have it engrained into my mind which is authoritative figures closing down an ENTIRE city, creating total fear among the public, and setting a PRECEDENT for the future when the S#@! really starts to hit the fan.

If this guy had a nuclear device or some such harmful weapon then I would understand. But as of right now, I'm at a loss...

Are they prepping you for future action?

All respect,

-AS-

Oh yeah! And What happens if they fail to find the suspect?? All the authorities will look like fools! What will they do then? Just let a bunch of heads role?

The nazis will continue to pat down all of the Bostonians in hopes of finding a pressure cooker or terrorist in their back pockets.
It is for the children....oh and national security too!

It's a gettin closer folks, more and more are getting the feeling that something is wrong, and not just us "conspiracy nut jobs".

So living in boston your best friend or a family member decides to go to a store and low and behold there is the Bomber with a bomb to blow your brains and your families and the people in the store out.

Riggghhhhttt... I really see that going out is a good idea NOT.

They have you indoors because he has explosives on him and hes considered a maniac.

I wouldnt step out for another week. let alone worrying about a day... geez . just hold tight.

No, because all suspects in the vicinity supposedly were on the aircraft that hit the trade centers....whats your point? If you are insinuating that all available authoritative figures would have imposed a lock-down in NY and the greater area then you are INSANE.

Thats also true. Because the Boston bombing wasnt exactly huge .. I mean they didnt murder a great number of people. So assuming he does have explosives on him, they are probably again small scale. He could break into someones home. Id imagine, since hes a maniac.

Ya right something doesnt add up.

But I think overall you are all alot safer indoors. Because you could be targetted, just the regular dude/lady or child ... could be.

We are dangerously close to the enactment of martial law in this area. If citizens decide they're done cowering in their homes, the Governor may make the call.

We already have blackhawks in the air, public transit shut down, businesses ordered closed, soldiers in the streets, and cops swarming homes and questioning residents.

It's so close, I can smell it.

Lautenberg Press Office, 202-224-3224
Wednesday, April 17, 2013

WASHINGTON, D.C.—In the wake of the deadly bombing attacks in Boston, U.S. Senator Frank R. Lautenberg (D-NJ) today announced that he will reintroduce legislation he has proposed in a prior Congress to require that sales of explosive powder be subject to a background check. He will also file the legislation as an amendment to the gun violence prevention bill currently on the Senate floor.

I'd rather live free then in terror..... and to me at the moment it's the authorities who are instigating terror against the population of Boston and greater area.

I do feel they are tryna protect the people. But its a good advert to future terrorists having all that power over people - is what generally psychopathic characters most desire.

Actually after an act of terrorism its better to carry on life as usual to show they havent beaten you and cannot beat you.

But Im a homebody anyway so id stay at home for a week easily lol.. just to avoid a confrontation with the Boston Bomber

I think Martial law has been enacted. Not like they need to announce it. This is the definition

Martial law is the imposition of military rule by military authorities over designated regions on an emergency basis.

When the next new conference has a US official speaking and we no longer see the mayor or State cops it is finalized.

if they're trying to scare the public to let us know how much control they have then where the hell were they when we've needed them the most

Another thing if he is armed how many explosives could he have on him at the moment? I mean he escaped 200 police men how much could he have carried. I dont believe for one minute he is armed.

Fair enough, but they actually do not need a U.S. official to 'officially' enact martial law, the governor can do that on his own, and knowing Deval Patrick as I regrettably do, he isn't going to be willing to give that power up to anyone else.

I'm not from Boston but this is what I noticed as well, looking from the outside and thinking outside the box.

The entire city is shut down, it's essentially a police state, and many people are "terrified." Door to door searches? Do you have probably cause of reasonable suspicion to come to MY house? No? Good bye.

I just saw on the news that people are being ordered INSIDE their homes. One lady, who was supposedly sitting on her porch, was screamed at by LE to "GET BACK INSIDE!" Excuse me? This is my private residence. Screw you, I can stand in my yard or sit on my porch as much as I want.

Shoot outs, police chases, throwing explosives? Hollywood indeed. I wonder how long before it's a film?

This stuff if getting ridiculous, and something doesn't make sense.

They ARE preparing us for obedience and the police state whenever they see it. This is proof.

***************

And a bit of irony: I saw on twitter that Dunkin Donuts is either open or providing coffee/food to LE.

No one active in the city but cops, no a business open, but the donut shop is booming.
