No too far from you, and I come here to get my news also. I use to live up there. The only thing I miss are the storms that come off of Lake Michigan. I lived 2 miles away from Bethelem Steel. The only thing I miss, the area now......it's nice to visit, then go home.

The flooding that is going on in Illinois and Indiana is just mind boggling. And, BRACE yourself, more rain to be dumped on us in the next few days. Went to Lafayette Indiana, and the Wabash River is about a quarter mile wide, as opposed to the few hundred feet. On the NOAA weather radio, it was saying that the Wabash down stream, in central and southern Indiana is seeing the worst flooding in 55 years.

The saying goes....If you don't like the weather in Indiana, wait a minute, it will change......I'll wait, but I want 80 degrees and sunshine....Dammit, not rain.
