Ah, but the Little Bird has so much going for it. It's currently a much loved SOF bird in the manned version. Delta and others use it as both a gunship, and an insertion tool. They're so quiet that you can't hear them until they are right on top of you (on crew member quoted about 10 seconds to me).

The K-Max is actually bigger than the Fire Scout and capable of carrying a bigger load. The K-Max has a max take off weight of 12,000 pounds, and a useful load of 6800 pounds. The Fire Scout has a max take off weight of 3150 pounds.
