This has to be among the most mendacious replies on this thread.

She was with him (according tot he story) and turned around for a few minutes. She called the police.

Among the lowest forms of reply are the ones that suggest that a parent of a child who misbehaves should be sterilized to prevent future births of misbehaving children. I mean really....have you laid on the couch to discuss this viewpoint with someone?

Yes, kids are irresponsible. That is why parents are supposed to take responsibility for them. You hand your 7-yr-old a BB gun and tell him to go shoot his heart out at the abandoned house next door, and then leave him to his devices, then yes, you're responsible for him going all sniper on the cars -- as well as the vandalism of shooting up someone else's property. At the very least she ought to be spayed and put in the public stocks for a week.

At the very least someone needs to be responsible for paying for the damages. Charging the kid with a felony, or even charging the parents with a felony would be retarded. It doesn't solve anything, it is a useless knee-jerk reaction made by useless human beings.

Actually once you turn 18 or whatever the legal adult age is, your file becomes sealed. So whatever you did as a child, it's like it never happened.
