War is Hell. Ike was right also when he said, "Beware of the military-industrial complex." Yet, I do understand when folks say a "reboot" is needed. Yet, I would hope there would be another way to accomplish it. If we have to have an end to the way things are, would that we could do it peacefully instead of with a bang. Nukes flying around to be the final countdown to armageddon but to what end? The few that would survive, would they try and build a better, safer, happier world or build a bigger, better "mouse trap", (weapon) instead. My signature that Einstein said, "Mans technology has far exceeded his humanity"...as History often repeats itself...would the survivors choose more wisely next time or choose an even more violent path to destruction?

They say soldiers dieing in battle, during their last moments, smell fresh baked bread or moms apple pie or fresh mown grass, or how flowers smell after a spring rain...when all is said and done, no one wants war. Those soldiers last moments, they are holding dear to them what is truly in their hearts, what truly matters. Too late, they know the truth and feel it.

Can any of us here imagine our kids/grandkids, eating dinner when suddenly, that brite light flash, the shock wave, the sights and sounds of the end for them...and for what? Reboot perhaps but in a better and more civilized way. Perhaps things have gone too far for too long and such is but a pipe dream but one can only hope. For ALL families and people of the world, may the unthinkable never happen!

I am surprised that North Korea hasn't rattled their sabres already considering that the U.S. has had a larger military force on the DMZ between them and South Korea than the total number of troops in Vietnam.... South Korea has been well armed by the U.S. since the early 1950s and they had troops in Vietnam that were paid more money by the U.S. than the troops troops were receiving... There wouldn't be 630,000 U.S. troops in South Korea if we weren't trying to push them into another war.

Here are my thoughts on it:

www.abovetopsecret.com...

And NO, I am NOT buying for ONE SECOND that it's just "nerds", "kids having fun", "scared people", "or people discussing military strategy".

It's just a bunch of sickos.

I disagree with both of you..I don't see people drooling to start a war but how many threats can one nation take...I get how Israel feels...many of us including me thought that Israel should show restraint when being threatened by Iran but now that the shoe is on the other foot I'm getting upset...you can speculate along with others that Korea will not do anything but how long can one country make threats until they do what they have been saying all along.

Nobody truly wants war unless they are profiteers from war but you can ignore North Korea all you want but something just does not seem right about this situation....people can get upset that other people are saying level North Korea but in reality public opinion means nothing in this arena. If the pentagon and the CIA feels that there is North Korea is going to launch then there is nothing your or I can do...I would expect some type of strike before the winter if this keeps up...I have not heard much from our government, NATO or the United Nations around what steps are going to occur and that worries me.

Indeed, how many threats can a country take, or how many threats should a country be allowed to make before it's taken to the international woodshed? The US and Israel keep threatening countries and have made good on their threats. They have been threatening Iran ever since they took out the last boogeyman, Saddam Hussein.

But I digress. Yes, Kim Jung Un, or whatever his name is, is rattling his saber a lot, which has been the M.O. of his daddy and grand daddy -- hmm, not much different from the Bush family tradition. What to do, what to do? Seems the first thing to do is that South Korea should move its capitol out of artillery range of North Korea. And why has the US supported a country that rebuilt its capitol within artillery range of a country it has been technically at war with for 60 years? South Korea should have taken a lesson from West Germany and not keep its historical capitol, which was in cannon and rocket shot of East Germany.

Seems the best plan would be for South Korea to make a sweet business deal with China, so that China would take its side in this matter, and pressure could then truly be put on North Korea to get a better and less belligerent government. Should that not work, then South Korea needs to evacuate Soul and shake up a big can of whoop-@ss and spray it all over the NK forces and leadership.

You're absolutely correct.
The hedonistic programming we've been bombarded with over the decades has succeeded and the reptilian part of our brains is now overriding everything else our brains have to offer and are capable of such as real love, empathy, compassion, and common sense.
Now, all the majority want to do is eat, drink, have sex, and be violent.
