DPRK er north Korea: Nukes are our life!

If you thought they the Nukes the DPRK, Un, er North Korea have or thought to was some kind of barging chip or just a bluff, well sad to say you where wrong.

DPRK has no intention of selling or giving them up to the US or any one that will say "give up your Nukes for aid" or, "we the US will buy them from you". DPRK nukes are now part of the worlds Nukes force.

One of North Korea's top decision-making bodies is setting guidelines that call nuclear weapons "the nation's life" that won't be traded even for "billions of dollars,” The Associated Press reported.

The statement Sunday came after a plenary meeting of the central committee of the ruling Workers' Party attended by leader Kim Jong Un and other officials, the AP said.

It also followed a declaration on Saturday that it was entering a "state of war" with South Korea, the latest in a string of increasingly belligerent outbursts from the isolated state.

The DPRK does not care if their people starve or die form lack of food as long as they have the Nuke. what kind of mad man are we facing? One has to realize Nuke war is in the equation, one can not dismiss it any longer.

Thanks but this is on how they will not give up there nukes for any reason , why? would you let your people stare and eat each other just to have or say you have the nuke ? How insane would you be to due such a thing. DPRK has lost all credibility and i Do hope China say enough US SK do what you must do or China move first for they do not want fall out hitting them.

Law on Consolidating Position of Nuclear Weapons State Adopted

Pyongyang, April 1 (KCNA) -- A law on consolidating the position of nuclear weapons state for self-defence was adopted in the DPRK.
An ordinance of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK in this regard was promulgated on Monday.
The ordinance said as follows:
The DPRK is a full-fledged nuclear weapons state capable of beating back any aggressor troops at one strike, firmly defending the socialist system and providing a sure guarantee for the happy life of the people.
Having an independent and just nuclear force, the DPRK put an end to the distress-torn history in which it was subject to outside forces' aggression and interference and could emerge a socialist power of Juche which no one dares provoke.
The Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK decides to consolidate the position of the nuclear weapons state as follows:
The nuclear weapons of the DPRK are just means for defence as it was compelled to have access to them to cope with the ever-escalating hostile policy of the U.S. and nuclear threat.
They serve the purpose of deterring and repelling the aggression and attack of the enemy against the DPRK and dealing deadly retaliatory blows at the strongholds of aggression until the world is denuclearized.
The DPRK shall take practical steps to bolster up the nuclear deterrence and nuclear retaliatory strike power both in quality and quantity to cope with the gravity of the escalating danger of the hostile forces' aggression and attack.
The nuclear weapons of the DPRK can be used only by a final order of the Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army to repel invasion or attack from a hostile nuclear weapons state and make retaliatory strikes.
The DPRK shall neither use nukes against the non-nuclear states nor threaten them with those weapons unless they join a hostile nuclear weapons state in its invasion and attack on the DPRK.
The DPRK shall strictly observe the rules on safekeeping and management of nukes and ensuring the stability of nuclear tests.
The DPRK shall establish a mechanism and order for their safekeeping and management so that nukes and their technology, weapon-grade nuclear substance may not leak out illegally.
The DPRK shall cooperate in the international efforts for nuclear non-proliferation and safe management of nuclear substance on the principle of mutual respect and equality, depending on the improvement of relations with hostile nuclear weapons states.
The DPRK shall strive hard to defuse the danger of a nuclear war and finally build a world without nukes and fully support the international efforts for nuclear disarmament against nuclear arms race.
The related institutions shall take thorough practical steps for implementing this ordinance. -0-

what better way of getting rid of nukes, make war to use them. That or just admitting it was a bluff. To understand the people er leaders of the DPRK, stand on head and spin!!!

Nobody gives a rats @$$ about ANYTHING that NK says anymore. This past couple of weeks has taught us that they are all talk and no action. Everything they say is for their own brainwashed population and is not based in reality AT ALL. Just ignore them until they actually DO something.

Yep and that could be any day , any time. I still hope it is a bluff but something tells me this is not, and it will be a nuke war this time. I just hope it is Un that takes the first shot if not then China will come in.

I think NK do care their people are starving, but the reason they are starving is becuase of the US impossed sanctions - what gives the US the right?

Bottom line: Nuclear non-proliferation can't work if wars aren't fought.

Because eventually a nation will do what North Korea and Iran are doing.

The list of countries that have nuclear weapons is growing and has been for a while.

Non-proliferation is not working.

Sooner or later a country is going to use nukes. Too many have them. All it requires is one false move. One mistake. Look at India and Pakistan. Some worry they'll trade shots.

Iran is even a greater worry because it has a more robust ICBM potential. Since their space program is more evolved than in North Korea, they're much closer to attaining ICBMs.

It used to be that the ability to put a satellite in orbit mean a nation had ICBM capability. Technically, North Korea would have qualified. Nowadays, much more is expected for a nation to have ICBM. The thing with North Korea is that they might be able to launch a missile and strike the US, but they lack the ability to target specific areas with precision. Furthermore, it's not just about reaching a target, it's about the weapons technology. They will have to do tests to get the technology right.

the sanctions imposed do not impose on food, only the DPRK takes that money and aid and puts it in their weapons program. the starvation goes back to the 1990's , here is a link on how bad it is www.washingtonpost.com... read only if you have a strong stomach. DPRK says it it the farmers fault for not producing enough, not that the DPRK takes the money for peaceful use, such as tractors and new farming methods, and spends it on weapons.

Nukes are our life? WRONG! Nukes =death and a nasty one at that too. What is life is FOOD. If North Korea choses to spend any aid on nukes and on not feeding the population more fool them. And you can bet they also spend the aid money etc on their own private perks too. The elite i mean. I say stop the oil supply to NK. Cut off their supply and ability to make petrol and they wont be able to maintain their infrastructure for long. Oh and the electric too.

As far as fuel and electricity, that would be up to China for they supply most of it, as far as new embargo goes , it is not the Gov nor the leaded ship that would suffer, it would be as it is now, the worker, the farmer the shop laborer. just less people to feed and to care for, more money to put in to weapons for Un to play/threaten the South, US with.
