This is the article about the video going viral.

And here's the video...

So, if the article is accurate and this thing's on its way to being as influential as it seems like it could be, what's next? I mean, seriously, check out the video and you tell me if you think this isn't information that could really mess with the average hardworking person's ability to allow the status quo to persist in this nation.

But, short of eliminating the top 10% (definitely the top 1%) what's the answer? Tax cuts? "Free" market deregulation? Austerity measures inflicted on the bottom 80%?

And if so, are you ready for the bloodshed?

Noting that "The top 1 percent own nearly half the country's stocks, bonds, and mutual funds," the video goes on to contrast those impressive holdings with the rest of the country. By comparison, it points out, the bottom 50 percent of earners own only 0.5 percent of those investments.

--From your source.

Great video, I really do hope that people get to see this, thanks a lot for sharing.

Short of eliminating the top 10% I think there are a few answers. As a libertarian my first response is to fix the banks by not helping them when they go broke and by eliminating the federal reserve... I think that there are other things that could be put into place, not to limit freedom but to limit injustice--I think there is more than just a fine line to approach this. It wouldn't be hard to take laws away that punish unique products and "protect" the wealthy, but I would like to see more laws against things like outsourcing which helps no one in America except the very head of certain businesses...

To answer the last part of your post, am I ready for bloodshed? Well, unfortunately, I think there is no other way around this type of situation. The U.S. will need to bleed before it can "heal" and whether that is a literal sense or a metaphorical sense I am not positive...

Eat the rich... Oh, I forgot. They're all skinny.

We're about to put the screw to the rest of the world when we bring manufacturing back to the grand old USA. But... You won't see many people working the "line." Just robot/AI techs.

If you weren't previously aware to the scale of the problem, that video may well be a serious slap to the face.

This is obviously a pro-socialism, obozo inspired propaganda piece - just like the "life of julia", and the film about "stuff" that all college students are made to watch - brought to you by cass sunstien and the un depopulation crowd.

Kind of looks like to me that the administrationn knows that blood shed is coming and they're trying to turn it around so that they will be the "heroes" Pro-communism.

Got to get the communist willing to buy and use some of those guns against the pro-constitutionalist.

I'd bet if one researched a bit into these super-billionaires, the trail would most likely point at areas in weapon-manufacturing, oil production, army/intelligence.

Follow the money...

If you expand this from just based on USA to the world it becomes even worse and those with nothing an even larger percentage.

Blood is already being spilt and has been for many years to maintain this inequality but it is the blood of those that do not matter so who cares? Certainly not the 1%

So the big corporations are going to ruin their comfy lifestyle to install communism?
You realize they'd have to give up their wealth, right?
'
Do you people know what communism is?

Oh good. I was hoping that it was all lies and socialist propaganda. Could you provide the data that refutes this data? I would sure appreciate it, since I hate feeling like I'm being screwed by pasty boat shoe wearing, cashmere swear sleeve tying, crybabies whose trust funds and inside track lanes are the reason why no one else can get funding for start-ups.

I look forward to your clarifying links and overview.

Scary vid I reckon the stats are more or less the same in the UK.

Looking forward to that pro-growth, pro-constitution economic data that you've got that debunks this video. I could sure use it. Especially if tax cuts and widespread societal austerity is our only path to equal opportunity for all Americans willing to work hard and invest smart.

Why don't we instead go after the few families that own and run all the large international banks and companies?

You can find them easily - look at the CFR, Bilderberg members.

They own all the food, oil, and banks in the world, and want us to be communists - governed by the UN.

According to these charts from 2007 the top %50 controlled %97.5 of the wealth in america, the bottom %50 controlled a mere %2.5 of the wealth.
It`s not really important how accurate these charts are even if they are just in the general ball park of the true numbers that`s still pretty shocking.

I wonder what those numbers are today?

Didnt seem like propoganda to me, seemed like factual information. Like the video states, we dont have to resort to socialism to fix things, but maybe something should be done about the top 1% lazy folks absorbing all of the wealth in this country

Actually I was under the impression that I had a fairly decent idea as to the scale of the problem.

And yet this vid was a major slap to the face, I'm currently looking for a job and might have one soon, but after watching this I have lost all ambition to find a job or work hard after getting one. Now I'm going to have to figure out if I want to support the top earners with my hard work, or stay out of the job market all over again as I have already thought about that once. I would almost prefer to just wander the streets eating trash, almost but wouldn't.

Of course they do.

With so many angry losers, it may well be that more targets are going to be required. Do you have an organizational chart that includes the strata of professional enablers and implementation specialists? I don't know. Maybe if you include the extended families of these *ssholes, the numbers could be more in keeping with what's going to be needed to satisfy the blood lust of those leftist losers. Better that the (relatively) few take the hit than that we all go down in flames. Just trying to be pragmatic here.
