Very scary ancient curse put to video

This hymn is an actual curse found in an ancient text. Apparently its the exact curse that a man put on a woman to love him even though she was in love with another man.

It was found in The Greek Magical Papyri in Translation, which is the name given by scholars to a body of papyri from Graeco-Roman Egypt, which each contain a number of magical spells, formulae, hymns and rituals. The materials in the papyri date from the 2nd century BC to the 5th century AD. The manuscripts came to light through the antiquities trade, from the 18th century onwards.

I couldn't help but LOL when I saw Cradle of Filth in the suggested videos.

It's like Cirque du Soleil mixed with Cradle of Filth. Hilarious.

Lol and I'm supposed to listen to this? Sorry but I'll pass. Thanks for sharing though, as much as this kind of thing intrigues me it also scares the # out of me. We really don't understand the power of words, song and hymns.. i think certain soundwaves can definitely manifest in one way or another.

Reminds me of the Madonna performance at LAST year's SB halftime show.

It should be made into an opera or something. It almost midnight, lights out, and I'm not scared a bit.

That's the most metal thing I've ever seen in my life.
Having said that... It's not scary at all...pretty cheesy.
The Reaper was pretty cool though, nice costume.

I liked the reaper and the really cool flexible chick.
The music was solemn but there was really nothing scary about the video. Also just because the "curse" is 2000 years old doesn't make it any more real. Just sayin
