Overwhelming empirical evidence says otherwise.

you forgot San Onofre.
in 2012 it was shutdown although there was no melt down, and the leak was small and contained.
it was found that the new the new steam generators that were installed had premature ware in 3000 of the tubes in 15,000
places.
