Riddle me this.

Here is a cool little riddle a bartender posed to me a few months ago.
It took me several hours and more than a few Scotches to get it.

First clue for Fe is a periodic table symbol for iron ?

I'm a bit wasted...so nothing better comes to mind...

Yes,

Fe is the symbol for iron.
That is what will lead you to the answer.

I'm thinking the answer is related to an item used in a certain sport usually played by older people.
