Did they specify what hostile actions the US is guilty of this time?

Giving them food? Was that the hostile action?

I think it more likely an American beat a Korean at one of the many video games they take ultra competitively online.

All joking aside, there has been a recent "beefing up" of US Naval forces in the area, so perhaps the N. Korean officials feel this is a potential threat by the US. As well, more sanctions were placed on N. Korea with the recent satellite launch, all or any of these could be considered threats by the US/UN.

I think both sides are treading on thin ice, considering that a state of war still exists, and the North was brazen enough to shell those Islands not that long ago. The whole of Asia seems to be a tinderbox.

Maybe if the propaganda machine stopped demonising communism and let people decide what the # they want, THEN nations like north korea would not have to develop nuclear capabilities TO DEFEND ITSELF from the warmongers in washington dc.

The democrats are just as pathetic as the republicans when it comes to war, perhaps EVEN MORE SO!

I am so sick of everyone demonising socialism and communism while the governments go after civilian gun ownership with severe non-sense restrictions and then taxing everything else to death. Seriously this trend is beyond pathetic; it is evil!

Live and let live. America has attacked so many muslim and communist nations THEY HAVE NO RIGHT WHATSOEVER to try and impose their DEMONIC CAPITALISM on the rest of the world who wants to live in peace and quiet with harmony.

Go start a war with the reptilians you idiots!!

I am not really worried about this since I am sure the U.S. has got a missile defense system (SBL) in orbit, which will take care of any launch from N.K.

Production has stopped on the F-22 Raptor, in favor of the cheaper joint strike fighter. They still are flying them, of course. I watched some F-22's out my window doing manuvers a week or two ago.

Oh, and all we really need to do with Kim Jong-un is lock him in a room with Psy and a fan without an automatic timer:
Fan Death

Between the ungodly fear of the fan being left on, Psy could horse dance to drive Kim insane.

There you go, N. Korea problem solved.

Could China be giving their toy madman mixed signals in order to side track the allies before they stirike japan for the oil islands?
Would be a cool manouver to get everyone al riled up in Korea and then hit japan while their back is turned....
Seriously, the US bases in japan would be emptied out with Korean action and even the JDF would be preoccupied....

There are several designs and prototypes for a Stop Gap Fighter...including New Designed XF-15's with new engines and new avionics and weapon systems.

However the U.S. Military is headed into the realm of Robotics on every level. There are a multitude of specialized Robotic Aircraft prototypes that are Faster, more maneuverable, longer in range, more lethal and have greater stealth.

A whispered test of a single Robotic Fighter which is flown by both a Compuer programed to be self determinant and remotely by a Human Pilot. The Computer is programed with a Mission as such Robotic Aircraft that are without a Human Pilot are not only smaller and faster but because they have no need of Life support...are capable of carrying a greater payload than an F/A-22.

The Human that can at anytime take over the craft remotely allows the Computer to fly and respond to threats as it can do so thousands of times faster and more accurately than a Human. However at the moment Bombs are dropped...the Human Pilot takes over to ensure that Bombs are not dropped on civilians or iff a mission must be scrubbed.

Such Robotic Craft are many time less costly and many times more lethal than an F/A-22. It is easy to see why the USAF will be soon purchasing these in Great Numbers.
