Quietly died, but they were just rock / wattered down punk.

The Damned were better IMO, but Sex Pistols topped charts.

Malcolm McLearon IS a conspiracy theory though. He took the Monkees route to mainstream punk.

Johnny Rotten was the voice behind the sex pistols, he went on to have another group , public image limited , was the name of it I think.
I agree that "my way" by sid vicious is excellent.

I hear you. I had a "tail"when they weren't cool and pierced by nose way back before piercings. It's funny when what goes around comes around. It's not "around " or original anymore then.

Jello Biafra split off from the band because they were becoming too coroprate. He's now a political activist and ran for the green party nomination in 200. He does spoken work shows now and is currently with the "Spitfire Tour", which includes such names as Henry Rollins.

After a legal battle with Jello, the Dead Kennedys went on to get a new front man and tour occasionally (They toured as the Ex-kennedys for a while). They were here in Utah abput a year and a half ago, I saw them, they aren't good without Jello.

I read a book a loooooong time ago, #e i must've been around 15. Anyways, it was pretty harsh, all about Nancy and what she was like growing up. Yep, she was definately a psychopath. I don't remember the book now but i believe her younger brother wrote it.

Wow. I cant believe people actually like the Sex Pistols.

Sid Vicious sucked. He had no talent, and didnt even play bass half the time, seeing as he was too wasted.

The Sex Pistols were the Backstreet Boys of punk rock. Get over them, they werent badass, they werent talented, they just gave punk a bad name.

Why's every "punk" so infatuated with the Sex Pistols, and Sid Vicious in particular? What did he do that was so amazing? Oh wait, he took a lot of heroin, is that it? Ok, all of you little punkers out there should abuse heroin because Sid Vicious did and he was sOoOoOoOo cOoOoOoOoOl.
