I don't see a problem, but that isn't what this thread is about, so lets stay on topic. I think everyone including myself has had just about enough of the gun debate and arguing. I like the light and humorous context of this thread, and I think it helps prove the point that someone will always be crying to ban someone else freedom because of their twisted and ignorant views.

Here is a small list of banned items in Australia but it should be mentioned guns were first.

Air guns (bb Guns), Sling shots, Cross bows, Potato guns (spud cannon), fireworks, Paintball guns especially semi auto, and soon to be on the list boomerangs then sticks and stones.



They have pretty much outlawed my entire childhood at least 90% of it.

I guess they'd just throw me in prison directly if I showed up at the airport with an old set of these....



I'd looked at Australia at one point in my life as a place I might want to immigrate to. That was before your weapons ban and quite a few other changes have come about of course. Now? I wonder who has it worse at the moment as the average citizen just living one day into the next?

Nanny Clause is coming to town all over both nations, obviously.

Spud guns!! Really ??

What you all do not understand is that the Boomerang is a stealth weapon! You do not throw it AT a target, you throw it past a target and on the return 'lethal' segment of it's flight, it hits the target on the back of the head.

It is an auto reloader. If you miss the target it returns to your hand for another shot. If it hits the target then you retrieve it whilst retrieving the prey.

Kangaroos have been known to ROFL at the perceived inept throw only to die suddenly and unexpectedly.

They dont fire whole potatos, they are like an air pistol.
Once primed you shove the muzzle into a spud to load it.
The projectile is about the size of a pea.

Had plenty as a kid, just wasn't aware of them having been banned.
