FBI: More People Killed with Hammers, Clubs Each Year than Rifles

breitbart.com

According to the FBI annual crime statistics, the number of murders committed annually with hammers and clubs far outnumbers the number of murders committed with a rifle.

While the FBI makes is clear that some of the "murder by rifle" numbers could be adjusted up slightly, when you take into account murders with non-categorized types of guns, it does not change the fact that their annual reports consistently show more lives are taken each year with these blunt objects than are taken with Fein

Another interesting fact: According to the FBI, nearly twice as many people are killed by hands and fists each year than are killed by murderers who use rifles.

BAN HANDS!!!!

Come on guys.... it's far time to BAN HANDS!!!!
How much longer will we allow people to use their hands.

LOL

Anyhow, obviously this is nothing about shootings.

This is about disarming the people and making them more docile.

It is a ridiculous statement to think that banning guns will somehow reduce crime.
If someone wants to kill someone and they don't have a gun... . guess what?
They will kill in another fashion.

The moral of the story is don't listen to talking heads on TV and agree with them just because they are loud!
Use your own brain!

Thx

This is no suprise to me what so ever. The thing that dictates how many people die as a result of random violence, acts of savagery and so on, has nothing to do with the availability of firearms. The real cause of the commission of violence, is an unwillingness on the part of a regional government, to deal with the things that cause a person to kill, specifically in terms of mental health issues.

If a person who has a mental dysfunction which makes them more likely to have a violent outburst, it matters not one bit, wether they pick up a rifle, a pistol, a knife, a baseball bat, a fireside poker, a brick, a hammer, or even use thier own fists. The potential for a terrifying incident to occur are precisely the same, no matter which impliment they aquire in order to spread destruction.

Since the problem is not the tool, but the wielder, one would assume that the correct way to deal with it, is to correctly identify those who are most likely to have such an outburst, and engage those people in a system designed to either cure, or confine those individuals. Obviously, it would be best if people could be treated effectively enough that they could become members of society, but at the moment, in the USA specifically, it seems that there are large numbers of people, known to be a potential risk to society, who are NOT being treated in any but the most superficial manner, for ailments that could lead to the deaths of innocent people.

This state of affairs cannot stand, unless the government there are prepared to accept the losses to thier society, that are caused by the inaction they have displayed. Remember, I am not talking about murders committed by those who are legally sane here. I am talking about those who are clearly suffering from a severe personality issue, or plain psychopaths, many of whom could never be tried as legally responsible for thier actions.

Holding these people, or keeping a proper track of them, is a paramount issue for these times, and unless the US government wants Sandy Hook to look like a cliff top walk on a summers day in a few years, they are going to have to handle these delicate issues, with a firm hand.

It is the same as always with our lawmakers, they wish to unbalance the playing field. They want to pass laws that apply to us but not to them. They want to have an advantage over the people as usual. Once they have that advantage, tyranny can easily be thrust upon us. That is the whole idea in a nutshell!
