Braniff Airways alien connection?

Does anyone remember Braniff Airways? They filed bankruptcy in the early eighties.

I remember hearing somewhere a long time ago that Braniff had some connection to the alien coverup and supposed technology.

Has anyone heard anything like this, or anything about Braniff themselves?

They discussed it in the interview (being shown during the top 25 episode countdown..) They just liked the little jingle and motif, so they used it....

The Steigers also try to make a case for the mysterious disintegration of Braniff Airways' Flight 542 on September 29, 1959 being due to UFOs. However, this report from NASA makes a pretty good case for wing flutter being the cause of that incident.
