Faces on mars, aliens or not?

Hey does anybody have factual research on them faces on mars? i dont think its coincendental i mean, have you seen them? im almost convinced they were "made". anybody have any answers?

Why don't you think it's coincidental? It is just some hills on Mars that when viewed from above look like a face. That's all it is. It isn't an alien HQ or anything. But I would also like to know why NASA hasn't sent a Rover to that area of Mars to check it out.

theres more than one face i heard. i doubt trees would be in the same spot on each one

i agree, they should. but they might have already and of course, we the public, dont know about it you know?

because there are plenty of places on earth that if you look from the sky they resemble faces...
oh wait my bad... those were purposely put there to look like faces damn! and I thought it was a coincidence.

Just like those coincidental crop circles, its amazing how wind can affect the growth of crops these days!

Nasa explained how the face on Mars appears the way it does, do a search and you will find out its the way the rocks are formed and its the shadows that make it look as if its a face, without the shadows it looks nothing like a face.

Also this always bothers me...why would someone/aliens build rocks to look like a face?

Whats the significance in that anyway, thats why i have never even considered NASA's explanation the be false.

well some of the theories iv heard for the reason the face doesnt look like a face in the higher resolution pics is because its not the same site at all, or that nasa bombed it to hide the signs of extra-terrestrial intelligence. I doubt the second reason is true but the first could have some validity, i remember seeing comparisons between the two, and the outline of the mounds varies considerably (im going on memory here). anyway spew...trees havent seen any pics of them on mars?

The face on mars may or may not be a face . If it is a face as richard c .hogland believes it seems to be meant to be veiwed from above (kind of a turist attraction) and may be half human and half cat like . There are so many other odd things on mars like glass pipelines, paramids , and even a half buried flying saucer (its three football feilds long , with what looks like tiny rows of windows around the front) that the face is a minor odditiy !! I have seen all of these on JPL s own web site when they realeased 80,000 pictures of mars two years ago. There there.

As you can see from the above image. New, more detailed images of the "face" reveal that it is not a face at all but just a large rock/sand formation.

Case closed.

Dont forget, its also claimed to be like 99% light reflective (terrain shouldnt possibly be able to do that), as are several "buildings" around it.

I always found the strange structures around the face more interesting




I also found this pretty cool site while grabbing this pic its got a picture of mars with Two Man-Made Objects that have been Layered in. You have to try to find the man made objects its pretty hard.

It looks kinda like a beast man with a bit of Jesus some how.

Your right it does look more like a face...dont know about seeing Jesus though i see more of an Aliens face and top of its shoulders.

What interests me is how the whole of that extrusion/hill/mountain is there but around it is almost flat, so i personally believe it used to be a volcano or something, that would also explain why it has erosion type grooves like on Earth we have streams coming down hills mountains etc.

Aliens making a face on Mars (Just think about that for a moment, it just sounds silly, even humans would not do this)... I dont think so somehow, just us humans grasping and hoping there is other intelligent life out there.

Humans DO make it, Nasca lines anyone? "The Tall Man" in England I believe. Etc and so on. Its not THAT far off to think that advanced aliens could have done it on a grander scale and focusing on "space-oriented" design (where unlike our ancestors they could actually see it)...

Barely, the Case is never Closed when it comes to the Government. If they are covering it up, which I truly do believe, I also understand they may have some very good reasons to do so. All that you have to do, is look at all the crazy people in this world. We had people commit mass suicide over a Comit. Imagine what they would do, over proof of other life out there.

Also on a side note, I'll post the pictures later today, but the real, true, untouched pictures of Mars came back this past year, with red sand, but blue sky. They said they colored the sky extra red in the original pictures, because it was ordered to be that way. The Washington Post even ran a story on it when it occured. I'll get back to you all with the photographs.

Yes, good point.

I don't believe it is a face on Mars, and of the landmarks close-by, only two look similar to pyramids because of their straight lines.

Does anyone have the position (longtitude/latitude) of the 'face', like the Pyramids and other sites on Earth, one would presume if it was created by an intelligent life form, the position would have some relivence?
