I don't disagree with you on that at all. I also didn't say you or your parents caused it. I just have a problem with you wanting to:
...charge every young person a fee to use everything our government owns.
and other such nonsense like it's our fault. Like I said, we just inherited this mess.

Trust me, I want all the liberty I can possibly get, but I still believe in taking care of the needy. Another thread here I recently read says corps
are posting record profits. They are able to do that because they reduce the workforce yet keep the same output. If the "job creators" aren't
willing to provide for their workers then somebody has to. SS is a ponzi scheme, no doubt about it, but it's for the benefit of ALL Americans, not
just the guy at the top like Madoff. And SS isn't preventing people from starting their own retirement plans. There are numerous IRA's and 401k's to
invest in out there. And the government isn't paying for people's retirement, they and their fellow Americans are. If the politicians would've keep
their greedy hands out of it SS wouldn't be quite so bad.
We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the
common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this
Constitution for the United States of America.
Providing for our defense is great but you left out the rest of the preamble. I might be wrong but ensuring domestic tranquility and promoting
general welfare means to me taking care of the citizens, preventing them from starving on the streets, and enabling them to care for themselves after
their working years are over would fit into that definition.
