Sources for scholarly texts

Just was wondering if those in the ATS community can recommend a good digital source for scholarly texts that are capable of being managed and read on my Ipad tablet.

I was a regular book borrowing from both the public and my university library, however i feel technology can save me a bit of time and space on my desk.

Anyone have some ipad compatible sources for books i seek?

Archive-org contains a large number of digitised out=of-copyright books.
Various formats are available- I've no idea if it works with iPad, but have a look.
