Watch the intro...

A runaway planet.... lol..
Now I don't believe in this Planet X at all, but neat how this show in the early 80's
depicted what would happen.. (minus magic and spells etc
)

Predicted how would would happen? This is not about Nibiru. It's the story line of a children's cartoon. I do not believe in any way that this is Nibiru symbolism at all.

What a deceiving title to a thread...

Well it's interesting to me and I appreciate you bringing it to our attention.

On a lighter note...

It is what it is, so we might as well have fun with it.

Savagery, sorcery and super science! Why was this show never a hit?

Ah Thundarr the Barbarian!!!! I loved that show!

Suggesting that this cartoon is predicting planet X or Nibiru, might not be too crazy of an idea....While I wouldn't say this show is "predicting" the Planet X/Nibiru hysteria that some people have fallen victim to....I think it's quite plausible that the premise may have been inspired by Zecharia Sitchin's book The 12th planet, which is often cited as the source of the Planet X/Nibiru ideas. His book came out in 1976, and the ideas of it could have very well influenced the post apocalyptic theme of the show Thundarr the Barbarian. The series ran from 1980-1982. Meaning the writers of the show could have likely read the book while developing the idea for this show. Now whether or not they put much stock in the validity of the ideas, is impossible to say....but it does make for great inspiration for a Sci-Fi cartoon epic!

I guess people will say the same about the countless cartoons and comics that talked about the WTC attacks, years prior to the event. When it comes to things such as shows, especially in the older years, they should be taken into account. Not saying this is, but still.
