Senator John F. Kerry besides being embroiled in controversy about his alledged meetings with the enemy (Le Duc Tho and others in Paris) during the Vietnam era and the doubt raised on the verasity of his wartime record by hundreds of Vietnam veterans now faces new questions about his connections to Islamic governments that sponsor terrorism.

This just goes to show no matter how much you change the image - the man underneath is still the same irregardless how many years go by.

Once a turncoat - always a turncoat.

Cornell Daily Sun Op/Ed

In an interview published Oct. 10, John Kerry compared fighting terrorism to fighting prostitution and illegal gambling, calling it a "nuisance." In the same piece, Richard Holbrooke, Kerry's likely pick for Secretary of State, opined that "we're not in a war on terror................snip

Among Kerry's top fund-raisers are three Iranian-American cheerleaders for the Islamic Republic of Iran. One is Hassan Nemazee, a shady figure who has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for Kerry and other Democrats. He has also been on the boards of at least two groups that lobby Congress on behalf of Tehran.

A friend of Nemazee's, Faraj Aalaei, has raised between $50,000 and $100,000 for the Kerry campaign. Aalaei's wife, Susan Akbarpour, has also raised between $50,000 and $100,000 for Kerry. Akbarpour recently launched a trade association, whose goal is to see that Iran suffers no consequences for sponsoring terrorism or brutalizing its own citizens. Thus, Kerry, an ideological shill for tyrannies in the past, is predictably on the take from apologists for the terror and oppression of the Iranian regime. For the record, Iranian money also goes to Hamas, Hizballah, and terrorist groups killing our soldiers in Iraq. That's right, the Boston Strangler wants to command the troops his policies and associates are helping to kill.

Then, there's Kerry's 2002 endorsement of the Islamic Society of Boston (ISB)............snip

Three ISB officials are terrorists. Abdurahman Alamoudi, a key terrorist financier, was just sentenced to 23 years in prison, for, among other things, transferring at least $330,000 to al-Qaida and Hamas. Also, the current ISB chairman, Osama Kandil, served with Alamoudi as a director of Al-Taibah International Aid Association, a conduit for terrorist financing. Another ISB director is Yusef Qaradawi, an Egyptian cleric who encourages Muslims to kill U.S. civilians in Iraq, and advocates the conquering of the U.S. and Europe. Literally, not metaphorically.

This story and the Oscar Wyatt oil for food connection to the Kerry campaign as well as Chinese connections are being ignored by the mainstream media I think in an effort to make sure none of this information reachs the American people prior to the election. The combined effort to squelch information detrimental to Kerry is well demonstrated by the Kerry campaign and DNC's extreme efforts to censor first the Swift Boat Veterans and later the film Stolen Honor through lawsuits, intimidation and complaints to government agencies while certain media outlets ignore factual information that would lead most reasonable people to conclude Kerry is not fit for the office of President, much less the office of U.S. Senator.

Not a cousins neighbour's best friends husband who wishes to disillusion themselves with the motherland Iran. etc etc

I agree with Holbrooke's assessment - terror is a tactic, not an enemy. It's been there since the great revolutions began in the 18th century - sometimes used for ill (the nihilists murdering members of Czar Alexander II's personnel in 1870's Russia), sometimes used for good (the French Resistance, the ANC's fight against Apartheid in South Africa).

I think that terror will always be there - just like poverty. You can't wage war on a tactic or a concept - you have to wage war on the root politics, and that involves more than weapons. It involves understanding *why* Islamic terrorism, in this case, exists - and knowing that pounding terrorist organizations into the ground without bothering to know why they exist and what their hate is about amounts to creating more terrorists.

and that would be to get the populace to beat each other over the head whilst they steal everything we have. And it's working. Look at all the lemmings out there, my party is better than yours, my dog is bigger than yours and all the while they act like two year olds defending their stupid party, they don't notice that they are getting pumped in the butt by both parties! WAKE UP!

Wow! I know this is off topic and I apoligize but when I was reading Amelias response the voice reading in my head was like that of Donatella Versace.

Very very weird. Amelia do you have a thick accent by chance?

Sorry for being off topic. Well I'll add this. Let's go Kerry

Its not about the parties for me - its Kerry, a person who has no right to office in this country due to his past actions and present tendencies that illustrate a disregard for this country.

Over 20,000 pages of FBI documentation has proved Kerry's culpability and actions with the Vietmanese after his return from duty well enough for me.

Kerrys campaign did return Chinese money when it became public.

Now Kerry in a national debate in his own words offers Iran nuclear fuel, the same country that even the IAEA says you can't trust

Am I the only one seeing a pattern here - no

Call it what you will but I'd say the one under influence of propagana is not me.

The issue to me is the severe lack of coverage on these subject by the MSM, traditionally some investigative reporting would ordinarily have been done where these actions would be brought to light in a more visible manner.

This election cycle has the MSM MIA.

You are both right, but untill most Americans wake up from the zombie state their in, we have to go with the lesser of two evils. Not that we want to. We just can't let Bush get in for another 4 years or we will be more screwed than we are now.
