as the title shows,this is scary!
no ghosts,demons or such.
just a worker climbing a 1700 foot communication tower!!!
i'm not afraid of heights,but i'm terrified of edges! (over 20 ft.)
this vid freaked me out!

I have seen this video, and being a person that is terrified of heights, just watching filled me with a wide array of emotion and feeling and almost made me sick. lol thanks for bringing it back

I remember watching this not too long ago. Gave me shivers up my spine just watching.

I climbed up some scaffolding last week. It was only two floors and as I climbed higher up the ladder my hands became tighter and tighter on each step. Gripping to the point where I was almost shouting at them to move to the next step!

Screw that, now hes gotta go back down and going down was always harder for me to do than the going up part.
Youd think it would be easier and safer to use a helicopter to lower them down.

Holy cow! Seeing this makes me wonder if I'm really up for skydiving for my next birthday.

First freak out comes at 1:40 then again at 4:20.

What a ridiculous design, regardless of why they have to go up there, no one should have to.

These guys should probably just have a parachute on and jump when they're done, if they can avoid hitting one of those other towers...

I don't feel fear as much as wonder.. but still. If I could feel fear it would be for that.

Slightly off topic, but I figured that some people would enjoy seeing these two videos if they have never seen what it would look like if you climbed the pyramid of Cheops. Kind of nauseating to imagine loosing your footing on the edge

So basically from what i can tell is that there is no secondary safety measure, if he falls while he is climbing that's it. i don't get it, how does that make sense. why cant they have some sort of pole that goes all the way to the top that they can stay attached to while climbing, or as another poster said lower them down by chopper, like they do with power lines.



Anyway, even though i got a little nauseous from it, thanks it was pretty interesting
