Is The Book of Revelations saying that Lucifer is the true Christ?

The Book of Revelations talks about "The Christ" declaring himself to be "The Morning Star". The Morning Star is another word for Lucifer "The Light Bringer" (Revelation 22:16). The Book of Revelations also says that many did not REPENT for blaspheming against the real Christ and did not repent of there deeds [against the real Christ] (Revelation 16:9), and that they instead accepted a false one. This "false Christ" claimed to worship the true god but it was really a "BEAST" that FORCED people to worship it. (Revelation 19:20). This idea of a god forcing people to worship him, does this sound familiar? It says many nations will be deceived and and FORCED to worship - does any body know what religious group went to many nations and forced people to convert? What religion is most popular through this method? It says Jews are the synagogue of Satan (Revelation 2:9), but who do they worship? The Abrahamic God... they believe in Old Testament...


I am not claiming that this is truth, this is just want some comments on this. What do you think?

Why does it matter? Is your life so dependent upon what the Bible says that you can't possible be an upstanding citizen without knowing the truth of it? Is your entire lifestyle going to change if you discover that Lucifer was, in fact, the true Christ?

Consider that if there is a Lucifer, and Lucifer is as tricky deceptive sneaky as is alluded to, wouldn't it be interesting if the trick was that every world religion ever invented was actually the creation of Lucifer to create discord, suspicion, competition, rivalry, witch hunts, crusades, persecutions, inquisitions, and the whole lot of misery and suffering that religions have brought about on the planet?

What if Jesus really was Lucifer; lord of light, most beautiful angel, a deceiver that can work wonderful miracles?
It's easier to catch flies with honey, and remember, Lucifer would be an Angel, a fallen Angel, but, much smarter than you and I, plus capable of supernatural feats.

If I can think of this as a matter of deception, certainly a super being would be able to think of such a wonderful deception.

Every world religion as a creation of Lucifer for the express purpose of causing all the troubles that religion has indeed caused; masterful, wonderful deception.

Sounds legit to me; more legit than the literal readings of these mythologies.

It's not really fair to attack the OP like that.

He's not saying it will drastically change his way of life if he suddenly "discovers" that Jesus was in fact Lucifer. In fact, I don't even think he ever said he was religious. He's just presenting a different way of interpreting Revelations, a commonly re-interpreted and highly contested part of the Bible.

I actually thought it was quite an interesting theory, as I have often wondered the true nature of Satan, or Lucifer, in the Bible. I mean, if he is truly evil and the antithesis of "God", then why would he punish sinners at all? Why wouldn't he reward them for doing things his way? Why would he want to help "God" at all? Considering every angle, it might make more sense to assume that Jesus, God and Satan are all the same thing, just presented in different ways to elicit the proper reaction.

The Bright Morning Star goes to the misnomer of "Lucifer", which is an incorrect title for Satan or the Devil taken from the King James Version of Isaiah 14:12. Were it not for this odd transliteration, "Lucifer" would not exist as a term in English, and there would be no confusion on the matter. .

Isa 14:12-15 (NIV) How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations! You said in your heart, "I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of the sacred mountain. I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High." But you are brought down to the grave, to the depths of the pit.

This should be understood as a sardonic title for the "anti-christ" or beast. He claims to be "christ", right? He claims to be Messiah, and has his moment under the sun, but comes to be brought low ultimately. Contrast the real Bright Morning Star: He lives humbly, does not boast, is not arrogant, is submissive to the Father... even unto death. Then the Father raises Him to the highest place; in the morning so to speak.

The short answer is that "morning star" is a title of honour, not a name.
As a title of honour, it can be held by different people.
It's like "king" or "president". Obama and Sarkozy and Putin have all been called "President", but nobody jumps to the conclusion that they're all the same person, because they've had the same title.
Whoever is being addressed in the Isaiah ch14 passage (which is what people mean when they talk about "Lucifer"), there is no need to identify him with the speaker in Revelation ch22.

It does not say "Jews are the synagogue of Satan" but rather "those who say they are Jews and are not" that are the synagogue of Satan.

God does not force anybody to worship Him. Rather the tribulations is a method to separate the true worshippers from those who choose to cling on to the world. Its all about separating the wheat and the chaff.

I'd saying offering a choice between worship and damnation is a form of coercion. No one wants to burn for all of eternity. Wheat? Chaff? Are you saying that we were all born precisely as he planned just so he could watch half of his children fight against the nature he gave them, in order to avoid the hell he prepared specifically with them in mind?

That's not a loving father. That's a mad scientist without scruple or guidance. That's a cruel child playing with his powers.

And before you talk about my parents, remember: there is not a single man or woman on earth we can use as a model for a godly parent, because no one on earth knows what it's like to be godly. So say there is a dark side, and light side how do we tell the differnce between the two, with the dark being all things deceptive, and the light being the only way to eternal life, according to the light. we must all see that there can be no light without the dark, and visa versa. so who or what draws the line between the two and who or what benifits from that line. or is the whole thing just one big grey area?

The thread I just finished answers this, but you need to know why truth has a reflection (as in a mirror). The twins are images of Jacob (Farmer) and Esau (Hunter). On gives and one takes. The light hits you and contains both. Your image then reflects what the light reveals.

No, Lucifer is Latin, it means "light BEARer", not "bringer". And its a horrible latin rendering of the Hebrew "hylel ben sachar" from Isaiah 14:12. In satan's former position before his fall he was the anointed cherub who covered the throne, like the moon he reflected, or bore, the light/glory of the almighty. But that was before iniquity was found in his heart. Hylel ben sachar means crescent moon and star. And the moon reflects or bears the light of the Sun. "The Morning Star" is a title christ reserves for Himself. The moon isnt a star.

The "chaff" who end up in hell would have damned themselves to hell by their own deeds.
They will be the types who did evil deeds and refused to repent... they would have refused to help those in need, despite being blessed with wealth. They will be those who harm and kill the innocent for profit or whatever other evil you can think of. Don't worry, even religious hypocrites will end up there.

I don't believe the real Jesus was Lucifer but I do believe the churches version of Jesus is. The church turned Jesus' message from love, forgiveness, and reincarnation into a message of blind faith, salvation, and heaven/hell. This is the "false Christ" you mentioned.

Jesus is also the male child mentioned in Revelation 12. The dragon represents Satan, or man (Rev 13:18). The Romans are the dragon, Romans worshiped the sun which is a star. The dragon sweeping a third of the stars to Earth and devouring the baby (Rev 12:4) is referring to the Romans inserting pagan themes into the story and turning his death into a faith-based sacrifice.

Revelation 12:5 says the child would rule all nations with an iron scepter. Iron represents the blood (sacrifice) and the scepter represents a monarchy. The churches version of Jesus is this monarch and his blood sacrifice gives him power over people.

Revelation is not a book about things that are still to come, it is a book about things that have already passed. S&F

Your eyes have opened clearly to who JESUS is — our Lord and our God.

There is no Salvation in any Other Religion or Belief
All those who seek the salvation of their souls through other religions or persons (saints, prophets, masters, etc.) can never find true salvation and can never enter into heaven.

To reject Jesus is to reject the God of your life. To reject Jesus means you have chosen to go to hell and be damned forever along with Satan and his subjects.
Special Adoration or Worship of Any Saint is Idolatry
There are those who exalt, adore and worship Mary the earthly mother of Jesus. They pray to her or through her. They also adore some dead saints and pray to them or through them. The Bible has this to say of such people:
Romans 1:20-22,
"Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and He will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon."
Psalm 51:1, 2
1 “Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy loving-kindness: according unto the multitudes of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions
2 Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.”
Thirdly, Jesus Christ is the Saviour from sin. You cannot stop sinning by your power without Him. Welcome Him into your life to give you the power to overcome sin. When Jesus comes into your life He will save you from sin and give you the power of righteousness. Apart from Him there is no other one and no other way.
Acts 16:30, 31
30 “And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
2 Corinthians 5:17
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."
When you give your life to Jesus Christ your sins are forgiven and you have a new life from God. Your name enters into the book of life in heaven. Surely, you will not want to start committing new sins and to get your name removed from the book of life. You must determine to continue in Christ by living a righteous life every day to the end of your life on earth. The Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth, obey Him. Do not be afraid of man and be not ashamed of following Jesus. Dissociate from evil friends, relationships and associations.

Water Baptism
Having given your life to Jesus Christ, you will need to submit yourself to water baptism. Water baptism follows repentance and faith on the Lord Jesus Christ.

36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?

The scriptural water baptism is one immersion into water in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
Matthew 28:19
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost."
Water baptism is not for ignorant and unconverted children, nor for unrepentant adult. Those who were baptized when they were still sinners need to be baptized when they truly repent and give their lives to Jesus Christ. The apostles practiced water baptism according to the instruction given to them by the Lord Jesus Christ.
Acts 2:38
"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."
Baptism in the name of Jesus Christ as seen in the above passage and in other passages in Acts of the Apostles means baptism as instructed or authorised by Jesus Christ.
Baptism With the Holy Ghost
Baptism with the Holy Ghost or the gift of the Holy Ghost is the coming of the Holy Spirit upon a believer in baptismal measure for the purpose of filling him with power for effective Christian service. All believers are promised the baptism with the Holy Spirit by God. This is received by prayer and faith on God’s promises.
Acts 1:8
"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto Me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."
Luke 11:13
"If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask Him."
The scriptural evidence of baptism with the Holy Spirit is speaking in tongues as the Spirit inspires.
Acts 2:4
"And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance."
Acts 10:44-46
44 “While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.
45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.
46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God.”
Speaking in tongues as evidence of baptism with the Holy Spirit is given to every believer who is baptized with the Holy Spirit for the purpose of prayer and personal edification.
Ezekiel 33:14-16
14 “Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right;
15 If the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he hath robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die.
16 None of his sins that he hath committed shall be mentioned unto him: he hath done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live.”

You MUST be Born Again
You cannot educate a slave into royalty because he was born a slave and even if you put him in a palace he will still be a slave because in his heart he is a slave. You cannot educate a sinner and make him a child of God because he was born into the slavery of sin. Jesus said that he who sins is a slave of sin.
You need to be BORN AGAIN, you need to be BORN INTO ROYALTY, you need to be BORN INTO THE KINGDOM OF GOD or else, AT HEART YOU WILL ALWAYS REMAIN A SLAVE OF SIN. You cannot educate a person to be a child of God, he needs to be born again and that is what Jesus meant when He said to Nicodemus, as it is written in John 3:3-8 “Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, UNLESS ONE IS BORN AGAIN HE CANNOT SEE THE KINGDOM OF GOD.” 4Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born, can he?” 5Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, UNLESS ONE IS BORN OF WATER AND THE SPIRIT HE CANNOT ENTER INTO THE KINGDOM OF GOD. 6“That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7“Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ 8“The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
A person who is born again of the Spirit of God IS A NEW MAN. The world does not understand him and that is why Jesus said he is like the wind, you don’t know where it comes from and where it is going next because that person is led by the Spirit of God. He can see the kingdom of God.
If you are not born again you cannot visualize, you cannot understand the kingdom of God, you are not of the kingdom of God, you are not royalty, YOU ARE A SINNER. You need to be BORN AGAIN!
He who is in Christ is a NEW MAN, the old things have passed away, HE IS NOT A SLAVE OF SIN ANY MORE, he is royalty, he is a child of God, HE IS A SAINT.
Have you been born again? Do you want to be born again and become a child of God? Then you must REPENT, you must FALL ON YOUR KNEES AND CRY OUT TO JESUS. Say:”Lord, I want You to be my Lord and Master. I don’t want to be a slave of sin any more! Please set me free from the bondage of sin! I don’t want to live the life of a sinner any more! I want to be a child of God!” Jesus will set you free. He will forgive your past sins and He will set you free from the bondage of sin and addiction. He will make you royalty, He will make you born again! He will make you a child of God, and then you have to go and bury the old man, you must go and be baptized in water so that the old man of sin can be buried under the water and out of it comes a new man, a new creature in Christ and then you ask Him to baptize you in the HOLY SPIRIT, to FILL YOU WITH THE SPIRIT OF CHRIST! If you do not have the Spirit of Christ, you do not belong to Him.
If you are in Christ you are NEW! You are not of the world any more, you are a different person. You cannot help but be a witness for Jesus because you are filled with the Spirit of God!
Have you been born again? Or have you just been educated? It is not about education, it is about REGENERATION. Have you been regenerated? Are you NEW INSIDE? Ask Jesus for the NEW BIRTH and He will change you inside, HE WILL MAKE YOU ROYALTY, He will make you a child of God.
YOU must be born again to enter the kingdom of Heaven!
