Actor Larry Hagman, famous for his role as J.R. Ewing in television's "Dallas", has died Friday in Dallas, according to the Dallas Morning News. He was 81.

In the 1960s, Hagman had starred in the hit series "I Dream Of Jeannie." Most recently, he revived his role as one of the Ewing brothers in TNT's revival of "Dallas."

Oh how I remember the 80's when everyone in the country tuned in to find out "Who shot JR"!!

The days of watching him with Barbara Eden in I dream of Jeanie holds a special nostalgia to so many. Another great one from our youth has been lost.

We'll forever remember....
