They make dark chocolate ones that are even better than the originals, but right now I am battling inner demons of my own- there is a big dish full of homemade walnut fudge staring me down from kitchen bar, beckoning ever so innocent and sweetly. Damn the holidays! It's too much to take!

Yuk those things are nasty and sloppy. My grandparents always had them around when i was little. I remember hating them because I couldn't fit a whole one in my mouth, and when I bit it, I made a big mess

I think I just gave up on them...

I prefer dark chocolate unless I am having a mocha. Then it makes my extra shot of espresso taste nasty...

Those look YUMMY. We don't have anything like bourbon balls here. I don't remember what all we tried but I remember several were mail ordered, therefore not really local...

We also have Kilwins here and they have great fudge for half the price of south bend chocolate....cough cough!

Fudge? You had to mention Fudge?
The best Fudge in the world IMO
Mackinac Island Fudge

Must....try.....chocolate......covered.....BACON!

That is genius! (or absolutely disgusting). Either way, I'm going to find out!

Personally, I make my own chocolate covered cherries each year. I used to love the Queen Anne ones, but now, just can't take that preservative in there. I do my liquid center with cherry juice and confectioner's sugar....the chocolate mold is a pain though....but worth it. We make them with regular, dark, and white chocolate. I'm not even normally a big fan of white chocolate, but it goes awesome with the cherries.
