For all of us Americans we will be celebrating veterans day today across the country. Let us not forget those who have come before us to give us what we have today. If you can; get out and attend an event to help celebrate the sacrifices that service members have made on our behalf. I have my dress blue uniform out and ready and will be attending a couple of events in my home town. I hope many others will as well.

Most of all; Thank you to all veterans out there both past and present. You truly are an inspiration.

Semper Fidelis.

It is also remembrance sunday in the UK, Iam lucky enough to spend it with a load of 90 year olds who I hope will tell me some brave stories when they were in WW2.
Glad some people are braver than me.

I will be spending the morning up at the local graveyard where they have a small collection of war graves, my kids enjoy remembering it there more than the village cenotaph as there are lots of personal details of the fallen on the graves. I think it hits home a bit more just how old these lads were. gives almost a face to a name on the headstone.

My thoughts and respects go out to all that have served, whatever country you are from.

I'll be remembering the friends i lost during my service too.

Also spare a thought for those not able to attend these services, the memories it will unearth are too much for many.

CX.
