In case anyone from the inside is looking out to see what is the general feeling on what they are trying to do.

They could probably have us killed or arrested if they feel we could make a noise. That is what is begining to scare me.

I think we are all already powerless. Anyone who speaks about any of this is called an idiot. If no one speaks they have easily won.

I for one am looking for sole survival, i have given up on trying to talk to others that do not believe about it. I think it is now time to go it alone. If they do not believe they will soon see, of that i am sure.

I just do not want to hear moaning when the # hits the fan.

Could you elaborate on what your specific concerns are?

If you are asking if others are concerned about their being targeted by the government because of posting here, I believe the answer should be a resounding, "No!," unless, of course what you post is in clear violation of the law.

The NWO wouldn't care less if you hated them. If you posed a security risk, they would, but you don't. All you are doing is venting your opinion on a conspiracy web site; 99% of the world will not hear you.

If you posted something that was classified only then they would act. This happend a few months ago on another forum, where a member revealed sensitive information about government plans, leading to an entire shutting down of the site for a while.

Remember before you, they have more bigger thorns to take care of, like Alex Jones, Michael Moore, the disclosure project. There is some evidence that there is a lot of internal bickering in the NWO as well. They are perhaps not as polarized as they'd hope to be.

How do you know? I mean, who's to say the NWO or whatever doesn't have a bug on this site? I'd bet most of us think it's certainly possible or we wouldn't have gone to the trouble of registering, no?

I see it this way bates. If something unusual did come from our decisions to post on this site then to me at least, it would mean that there might be something to all the talk about the NWO and/or censorship or some loss of freedom. However, I suspect that if there were concerns from whomever about my involvement with this site, then I would have graver things at that point to be worried about than the fact that I'm involved here. In other words, problems here might tip me off to the fact that something is amiss so, in my book, that's all the more reason to post.

I'm not worried at all. I seriously doubt anyone here is a serious enough threat to "Them." (and I don't mean giant ants.)

This has been covered lots of times, so dont be offended if this thread gets trashed...i wouldnt be suprised if this does due to this appearing like every 4 weeks. Government monitoring, ATS conspiracy, etc has all been covered.

Nah, a mistake lots of newcomers make when joining this forum is thinking that everyone thinks like them. We have as many skeptics as fanatics on this board.

Personally, I don't think there is a "they" to come and git me. I feel great about utilizing my American First Amendment rights in an international forum.

really? so all these thousands of people joined a site call 'above top secret' because they think the gov't is transparent? i'm not saying one way or the other that the gov't is monitoring (doubtful and possible would be my answer) the site, however, it's our wariness that links us all, no?

Indigo child says:

"Remember before you, they have more bigger thorns to take care of, like Alex Jones, Michael Moore, the disclosure project."

I think that Michael Moore, because of his success, is pretty annoying to most conservatives -- and probably to more than a few liberals as well.

But my guess is that most of the people who count in government have not even heard of the Disclosure Project or Alex Jones; and, if they have, consider them to be merely harmless nutbars.

Grady's right, IMHO. Even if someone is eavesdropping, it certainly never stopped me from spewing out my share of vile garbage. Hopefully we still have some degree of free speech left in America, and I, for one, say, "Use it!!".

Like Grady said, unless you're breaking the law, you should be OK ...

Scared of posting.

No way. There going to have to kill or arrest alot of people to silence us. I think it may also raise a few eyebrow if 100 members of the same internet site are killed or die.

Yes, I am saying that a new member (not specifically you) should not presume that they automatically know the thoughts, opinions, and stances of everyone or even most people on the board. This board has political forums, technology forums, news forums, and whatever, a whole lot of stuff besides government conspiracy theories. Look around. People join for all kinds of different reasons.

I joined for the scitech and the writers' forum, with a dash of ancient civilization sprinkled on top. Some people joined to talk about vampires and ESP. I'm not trying to troll you, I just see a lot of folks join here and start assuming things.

I worry about some posting on here, and the authors of such posting that I worry about. Just a little. But the demographics of this site would suggest that it is somewhat increasingly skewed to the young impressionable. Such comments come forward each day. Therefore should it make me worry more or worry less?

I don't worry about my own posting at all, and the Mossad and representatives of any other intelligence forces, as always, are cordially invited for afternoon tea. I have some new jams and honeys they can sample, and my wife is very good with the French Press.

I should mention that a couple military people have gotten in trouble for being associated with this board. I can't remember their names but one guy was kicked out of the military and the other guy just blanked out all of his posts one day and has never been seen again.

Personally, if I ever caught one of my civilian employees wasting time during work posting on this or any other site, I'd fire them too. I can imagine what would happen to someone in the military, low level secret clearence or not.

The better part of the "Community Conspiracy Theorists" or CCT's, are still around posting here on ATS and/or other forums. So if "They" really wanted the "good ones", then I know "They" surely would have removed me long ago. I think my husband has even invited "Them" over for tea a time or two.

BTW..Who are "They"?

The people that think they really have something to worry about tend to be of the tinfoil-hat variety, and I beleive that most of us agree that there is little to no credit to many of their wilder assumptions.

The government doesn't have the time or resources it would take to police the entire Internet, or even every post made on this board, for suspicious material. Even if the president and the entire royal family are lizardfolk, I really doubt they have such resources; indeed, I beleive it would be rather inconvenient to operate a keyboard whilst one's hands are covered in scales.

Actually, we've got quite a few members who are with the "alphabet" agencies, not to mention government and defense contractors, etc. But they are likely here for the same reason you or I are....

I must echo Grady's reponse unless 1 is violating any law then NO.

The two biggest draws on the internet is still UFOs and porn. Even with the famed Eschelon and all that, the vast amount of things to supposedly watch would keep agents busy for eons. That is if we here were all percieved as a threat. Then ATS would simply be shut down.

Shorty:

Then you are already in the soup for posting, aren't you?
