Great Guy Good Story - Marine Assists One Legged Boy Across Finish Line

I liked this story. Many hate on all service men, but that is just hogwash. There are many amazing, wonderful and thoughtful people who serve in the armed forces.

Although this is no groundbreaking story, it is nice to see some positive pub now and then regarding the many people who serve in the military.

“As far as I’m concerned, he finished that race,” Morgan said. “As long as he knows he could’ve finished it and wanted to finish it, that’s all that matters.”

Morgan’s commanding officer, Capt. Frank Anderson, wasn’t at all surprised Morgan did such a heroic thing.He also said the Marines never leave anyone behind.

Yeah amazing story.

Enough of our troops are returning from war limbless to understand that they may have some sympathy with youngsters like this.

Lets hope he finishes many more Triathlons after this one without any help!

I remember seeing a picture of this on another site recently (minus the article). It put a smile on my face.
