Well, Lo and Behold, it's the 13th and I looked at your post....What a bunch of crap! You are symbolic of the problem with ATS. There are those that raise question about things they're interested in, some that hear rumors about things, and others post about up to the minute subjects. then there are those that just post these OUTRAGEOUS subjects that are nothing more that a Fiction short story or a carefully crafted lie. I really am tired of this stuff.

I am symbolic of the problem with ATS because I posted a thread about something I was curious about and have no ties to the military whatsoever, so I reached out to the ATS community for an answer as to whether it is possible and/or plausible? I posted an article I found online and encouraged feedback to it.

You have taken a sound bit and passed it on as a credible story, without any research or attempt to verify that the story was "in fact" REAL. All you accomplished was to stir up people's feelings and inject fear into their thoughts about "something BIG" you THOUGHT was happening....You don't see anything wrong with that? When people start talking about mass military movements, that important. But out and out fear mongering is not what ATS should be about.
I do want to apologize to you for seeming harsh BUT, you really need to understand what your post can do IF it's incorrect. Everyone is on edge, it's not the time to be putting out false information.

Did you even read the original post??? I have NO military connections to call upon. How am I supposed to research if this is true in any way shape and or form, without that? I never said I THOUGHT anything was happening. I asked people on here if there could be any truth in the posted article or not. That's why I encouraged others that may have military connections here to give their input. I never once said that I believed this or was promoting fear mongering in any shape or form. Once again . And as other posters earlier proved - this story is false and that is absolutely fine with me.

Once, I read on ATS that the a component of the Russian Navy had joined up with a few Chinese navy ships and were steaming to the Straits of Hormuz. This was during a time of a lot of Iranian babble about closing the Strait and the U.S. Navy started patrolling the area. This became an immediate concern to me so, I started looking for confirmation.....Long story short, the ATS post was BS. It did take me about 2 hours to run down the story and I' not a News Guy or have any "special resources" but, I don't take things like this at face value and neither should anyone. There will ALWAYS be someone that will try to create a situation "just to see what happens" and we need to keep our wits when being confronted by "outlandish" claims and stories.

sandy is roaring up the east coast and it looks like shes gonna hit some states with her outer bands.
and then turn up into new york and maybe cuase problems as far in as chicago.

one thing the military doesn't mess around with is hurricanes.

Well Superstorm Sandy hit US NYC and NJ pretty hard.

BUT I wanted to put this somewhere on the Internet. Sandy wasn't the event TPTB was hoping would happen.

Yes there was loss of life but 50 versus millions is MERCY at its highest. So praise the Almighty and start to get to know Him, as he sent the saucer to shoot down the saucer with the DEW. This is the Minden event, which they did a real good job of hiding and disinfo was at its best.
