Not surprising as most of the GOP are misogynists

I heard that a GOP aid was a racist.
They must all be racist. We must paint with very large brush strokes to make sure we don't miss any spots.

Also we must make it about a person not the dreaded idea that way we can tear the person down and the idea with it. We will plead for tolerance while not showing any in return. Two wrongs do make a right.

It not about right vs wrong in our world it is about perception. I am 100% with ya.

And above all we must remember that our side holding the power is the main goal and if we have to cheat and lie to win we should. There is one silver lining in all of this that thankfully both sides are the same today so even if we lose we still win.

Keep up the good fight I look forward to seeing your insight in more posts.

GOP - the party of family values.

But hey, we can still meet young women famous for their sexual proclavities in bars late at night and go back to their hotel rooms, with another couple.

And then assault them.

Good job that Congress really does a good job on vetting their staffers.

Lindsay Lohan, are you serious?

Wow, she has 0 credibility....this is an all time low....to stoop to scraping up
the bottom of the barrel. And before anyone accuses me of it, I am not a
republican. But...again, Lindsay Lohan?

Ok...and most of the arrests of Lindsay are based on the illegal actions she started.

Just from two days ago! Hit and Run, and Jewelry theft.

Lindsay Lohan is a wanted woman ... in TWO criminal investigations.

In addition to being a jewelry theft suspect following a house party heist a week ago Sunday, police want to talk with LiLo to determine if she committed a crime by lying to officials in the aftermath of her June car accident.
www.thehollywoodgossip.com...

You can't make this stuff up.

Lindsay Lohan has sucked a lot of things........... Ironically she also sucks at acting.

Anywho, what a surprise. Can this idiot go a week without the police being involved? I mean SERIOUSLY.

Also her mother clearly has a major problem... I mean really of all people to sit down and make a fool of yourself in front of you choose doctor Phill.... I would have atleast waited until Oprah to do that.

I stopped caring about Crack Whores when I dumped my Ex.

but Wish her best of luck......... Cant wait to see the joke that is 'Liz and Dick' though.... umm supposedly the worst acting in the business in recent years. Should be hilarious to watch her pretend to be Elizabeth Taylor.

....this is an all time low...

You're right, this is an all-time low - for Lohan, schlepping around with GOP staffers in an all-night coke-fueled debauchery! What was she thinking!

Why is this in the Political Madness forum? This has nothing to do with politics.

You're right, of course, it doesn't, but the OP wanted to emphasize the fact that it was a kid who worked as a GOP congressional staffer. The OP did that to show the GOP didn't.....That the values of the GOP weren't..... Heck, I don't know what he was trying to do.

To be honest, I don't think we can attach this incident with the GOP.

Yeah, I know but I just like to remind republicans how much their party wishes it were 1950 again.

And it was funny.

I couldn't agree more, but this will be the GOOD thing about the elections won't it? After this is done and no matter who wins..at least for a year or two...it won't be standard operating procedure to ask someone's political party affiliation as naturally as asking for their ID when getting in trouble for something.

What membership to the Republican Party and work for a Congressional Office has to do with being a perfect ass and apparently criminally out of line at a hotel is beyond me. I mean, it's not like people who HAPPEN to be Democrats don't do really really stupid stuff, right? I don't recall generally caring about people's politics unless the politics are the direct and 100% driving motivation for the act (The Plumbers at the Watergate, for instance).

November can't come soon enough...if for no other reason, than an end to the partisan bickering and gutter sniping across the media and across the nation. Enough...

Still trying anything and everything to divert people from Obama's abysmal record.

"Don't vote Romney! Some random congressional staffer reportedly had an incident with Lindsay Lohan!"

Lindsay Lohan is not exactly what you would call a stable personality. There are 3 sides to every story. Maybe it happened the way she said it did, maybe not. I would lean toward not.

I wouldn’t have said this was political news until a few minutes ago when Fox did a piece on it saying there was a minor scuffle and omitted most of the facts then went on to assassinate Lindsay’s character downplaying the whole incident.

When Fox does damage control then you know that it more than just a minor incident. Lindsay is no angel that is for sure but what that staffer did is not right.

Makes sense to me, I mean GOP staffer, kinda tipped me off,( yes I'm being general )BUTT, does anyone really understand how messed up things really are, or is everything all dandy as long as you can text and watch ( insert tv show here )?

Presidents and congress for that fact, actually used to do things a few decades back, but now all it is, is what mischief will they get into next, or who wants to be a corrupt greedy scam tv reality show contestant trials.

And to think you can convince these majority of people anything factual is about as practical as using a lottery ticket as a means to feed a family. Yet my state will add more Casinos in the name of schooling and job creation, doesn't matter that they haven't stamped out the money leaks in our government 1st, and that the jobs created are Butler jobs, I mean service jobs.

but back to topic, it was prolly a stunt to get more attention to a talentless person, since you know the talent aspect isn't there she needs another means to attracting fans. Or was it to somehow boost the GOP ratings and attract snookie fan vote? It's amazing to me really, politics are less funny than 24 hr gilbert godfrey show, yet all I hear from them are jokes...

Pics or it didn't happen!

Seriously though they both need to be drug tested, I have a feeling that was the cause of it all.

You're probably right on that. I'm willing to bet if they did 100% "Surprise!!!" drug testing on a full joint session of Congress as well as the Academy Awards show to get the stars in one place at one time.....Well?

We wouldn't have new laws passed OR new movies made for quite some time. It'd take a year or two for almost all of Congress and Movie industry to be replaced after the results came back.

It all makes sense; Lohan is a woman. According to Republican ideology, women are dependent, defenseless, subhuman creatures with no rights to their own bodies. Lohan crossed the line when she demanded anything of a man, so this Republican Hero punched her out, as is every Republican man's duty when a woman gets uppity.

yeah...even though i'm not particularly fond of the republicans, i don't see how this is a political problem...this is just a arrogant a**hat. unfortunately, there are these in both parties. can't people just leave celebrities alone?...if celebs want to get to know you, they'll let you know. this is why they need bodyguards

And yet you engage in partisan bickering like almost all who frequent the political ATS mudpits

And I admit I'm guilty as well. It's never going to end until some terrible national catastrophe brings us together, like 9/11 did for about 3 months.

Politics is inherently populated with personalities that love the bickering and gutter sniping or else they wouldn't do it. It's the nature of the beast.
