Drop everything and watch this short film about the Dutch robot wars

Thought I'd share with ATS as I thought this was pretty mind blowing.

This is Tears of Steel, a crowdfunded short film that uses the open source 3D animation tool Blender to create some gobsmacking visuals of a futuristic Amsterdam overrun by mechanical beasts.

The film's premise is about a group of warriors and scientists, who gather at the "Oude Kerk" in Amsterdam to stage a crucial event from the past, in a desperate attempt to rescue the world from destructive robots.

The Plot is rubbish but that's beside the point. Watch in 1080p if you can.

btw this is the same software used on youtube to make all the fake ufo hoax vids. Blender free open source 3d modelling software ftw. Most ufo hoaxers use Blender and/or a pirated copy of adobe after effects... then they get their vids posted on tin foil hats like abovetopsecret com that believe any damn thing you post
