I saw this in the news a while ago; are you sure nobody has posted about it by now? In any case, it might be from the Middle East. Might not be.
The U.S. created Stuxnet and then pointed at it and said, "Hey, look, SOMEBODY created this dangerous virus, like maybe China or the Middle East, and
that means we need to increase internet surveillance and security!" Now they're saying anybody in the world can use it to attack us. We gave the
whole world a cyber weapon to use against us.
If major U.S. banks are being attacked by hackers, it should be first and foremost THEIR responsibility to make sure they have satisfactory security
measures in place. The solution is NOT to make the internet less free, which is probably what they'll try to use this to justify.
