Umm...
Please let this be the last meteor breaking up in our atmosphere until after 2012 is over.
I don't hold much stock in the modern bible, but I know enough about it that once we start seeing fireballs in the sky it's not a good sign

20 000 meteorites hit earth every day, occasionally , about once a week, a meteor the size of a house will hit earth. Do not worry. Nothing above ordinary going on.

15.000 TONS of space debris are entering Earth's atmosphere each year.
Those are +/- 40 tons per day - for some reason, you think a meteorite or something breaking up in the atmosphere is something rare. It's not.

I agree and I'm also aware of that fact. I'm just saying two in twenty-four hours, hoping it doesn't start to become a regular, noticeable occurrence. Although is it really true that a once a week a house sized one hits. I may be wrong but I thought the new numbers were showing that one even 20 ft across can destroy a city if it explodes over the city a tunguska like event.

A military coverup of a meteor by claiming it was a rocket?

That's a switch.

My psychic abilities are picking up a hint of sarcasm here. At least I hope so. The "Only explanation possible"...

Insert pic of Tsoukalos here.... "It's Aliens" That is the only explanation possible. I am watching him on TV now. Man his hair can be the only explanation. Hair like that can only be due to aliens.

Has Veterans Affairs suddenly become a conspiracy site?

I would think they would be discussing the inadequacies of the VA and healthcare.

Seriously Phage... You have to stop peeing on everyone's doom porn parades... (said with an air of sarcasm)... Of course you are right. Phage is always right. How the heck did you get to be so wise? Maybe I will start a thread about you? Who is Phage? Genious? Skeptic? Alphabet dis-informant?

Anyways you always seem to be the voice of reason here. I for one appreciate your "two-cents"...

Has Veterans Affairs suddenly become a conspiracy site?

Apparently:

Niall is an editor of Signs of the Times Sott.net, an online news site that tracks what is going on socially and politically in terms of global energies.

as i read the AP article that is linked in the original article...i noticed that the AP was 'updated' at 7:27 pm EST....so within 10 hours..the military fessed up to a “one of our very high-end, very intense things that we do out here… not one of our everyday things“......wow! im stunned that the military would be that quick to admit and spill thier guts to an AP reporter who then got the story out........anybody else find that a bit weird...if memory serves me right....wasnt there another 'test' out over the paciffic this summerish that was, at first, an 'unknown' lauch but eventually the military fessed up to some kind of launch???

As long as I have been looking at the VA site (I looked at it the first time today) it seems to be like this. I am not so sure it is an official site. Note that it is a .com and not a .org or .gov.
