Besides the poetry, Saddam has had several health issues while being held as a "guest"

Ten days ago, he underwent a hernia operation at a hospital in the Green Zone. The procedure went well and he went back to his cell the same day. Other health care issues include high blood pressure and a prostate infection
. Doctors have treated that with anitbiotics and other tests to see if there is a prostate cancer issue. They do not believe so, but Saddam refused the biopsy that would have made sure.

How come he gets free medical from our govt. my dad served in 2 wars and had to fight to get heart meds from the VA!!!
