I'm not a troll (at least not here).

I was offering my opinion, based on a related background, that the notes looked real. What I didn't know was that 1934 series gold certs were virtually non-existent. I thought I had seen a $100k note and remembered it selling for over $100,000 at auction, but realized later it must have been a $10k note (and not a series 1934 gold certificate).

I also admitted that I was never really "into" the whole currency thing. I worked as a cataloger and quality assurance specialist in the rare currency department at an auction house.

Who is trolling?

This seems too convoluted for me to make any conclusions.

The OP's pics are from Neil Keenan and that dude is connected to all kinds of super heavyweight financial claims. (Dragon Family lawsuit, seized gold bonds worth billions and trillions, the pics in the OP, and who knows what else)

I'm just a laymen, how can I be in any position to know what the Federal Reserve Bank can or cannot do regarding their books, black books included if they exist? Because they told the public what they can or cannot do and it was echoed down to me? Who would fall for a scam involving the purchase of $100,000 bills via legal currency when the huge bills aren't supported by the banks who allegedly printed them? If this is all some super obvious hoax, how would it benefit the perpetrators of the hoax and/or harm the US financial system?

I see no reason to form any conclusions based off the information presented here.

Because I made a glaring mistake that someone of that trade shouldn't have. I was in that business for less than a year, and left to pursue other things. Thus, it's easy to see why I no longer do that.

As someone who has grown up in the antiquities arena, the photos look like a very thorough fake. The edges of the box and notes have obvious signs of reproduction tell tale signs and are missing the authentic makers marks of the period.

There are many discrepancies from the photos you posted.

As someone else mentioned, the typeset is wrong as is the references to authority figures and the dates mentioned. Also the aging of the pages is very wrong and in fact appear to be treated with oil of some sort

The banks that jp morgan (which became jp morgan chase in the 90's) actually collaborated with in those days are not even mentioned I noticed.

Its fake, sorry kids.

Thank you. At least you gave an explanation as to why they are not genuine other than "IT'S ILLEGAL FOR PEOPLE TO OWN THEM, DIDN'T YOU HEAR ME THE 70 OTHER TIMES I SAID IT!" Things are illegal to own, we get it, but that doesn't stop people from having them. Marijuana is illegal to have and low and behold I have some right here. I do agree that these look to be fakes but someone somewhere has a few of these notes. Whoever was tasked with destroying them easily could have put a few of the 42,000 of them in his pocket when they were being destroyed.
