Greetings! Love this forum! I see that there is some really challenging ideas around here that might be the same as my own.
I cannot wait read more while getting familiar with the posters, and get to share what I have found that will knock everyone's socks off. I think I have finally found the forum that I have been looking for! It will be so great to discuss things that my peer group has no clue of...things that I get made fun of for mentioning.

Sure youll find intellectuals here, but to be honest if you received criticism from your friends then you might receive criticism here. There are Friendly people here and there, in the end you will decide about what you think of this site

Gotta love sea horses. Beautiful and magical-looking little creatures. It is so hard to see them as fish. Welcome to ATS. Try to stay as intellectually honest as you can, try not to make statements you cannot yourself defend and don't pretend to know more than you do about anything. I'd say try to stay civil, but I'd be a hypocrite because that one thing I fail miserably at when I encounter any of the above.

I used to think like this. However, after only a few days, I realised that for every person I agreed with, there were a dozen that I thought were either a danger to themselves or a danger to others.
