The states doesn't supercede the UK in the hierarchy of things. If anything, it's the other way around. The bankers are centered in Europe, so it makes sense anyways.

Embassy's are suppose to be the sovereign territory of the country that they represent where ever they may be. IMHO this is outrageous behavior by the U.K. government. And the behavior has been supposedly initiated for the allegation of a sex crime, BOLLOCKS as they say in Britain. Methinks that Hitler didn't lose the war after all, Britian has become a police state. Eric Blair you are a genius.

The title of this thread is misleading and should be changed. There is no way the UK or anybody else is going to storm an embassy. That would be a total violation of the Vienna convention and set a dangerous precedent for all embassies worldwide.

They can of course, arrest him as soon as he sets foot on British soil, which the embassy is not.

I would be embarrassed had I been typing like this as your suggestions are not true and the proof is in the news and in the public domain! Forcing the OP to do your research is bad form and lazy!

Hurray Julian made his speech without getting shot or some Pig jumping out of a helicopter on a line and snatching him! I wished I had the time and what it takes to go to London to be part of the few who are making the press to be the worlds witness. I just cannot be around madmen who pretend to serve and protect!
