Was just viewing some of the raw images from Curiosity and came across this one which has 3 anomalies that appear as orbs over the mountain range on the horizon. Maybe they're just spots or dust on a $3billion dollar camera? You'll need to enlarge it to see what I'm referring to.

Full resolution image

Can anyone examine them with software to determine if these objects are on the lens? Are some type of processing anomaly? Sun spots? Dust? Lens flares? Birds? What ever?

But there is no swamp gas on MARS
. OP I see them, not sure what I see though. Its wild how we all try to look into these MARS photos for the good stuff. It would be so cool if the bio/movement filters were off

I don't see it. I thought I did but realized I need to clean my computer screen. There are "orbs" but are made of rum and coke splatter.

I honestly don't see what you are talking about at all though...

i would assume those are sand grains on the lens. Also since they are a bit darker, so more close to the lens.

Yeah I see them too........don't think it's dust.

I think it's them wondering why we sent a car to Mars.

Somebody will clean it up before long.

I fully expect insect and small animal and plant life on mars surface and intelligent life still underground. it only makes sense, the planet was once much like earth, there is still water and an atmosphere.

(Probably) defective pixels on the CCD?

I dont think there is a pt in enlarging and enhancing since it's really only dots, probably only one pixel big.

Ohh, thanks for point it out, I couldn't tell it from the dirt on my screen lol

Well, Dust doesn't have anti gravity properties, and apparently there's no birds on Mars,

So technically UFO!! Woo Hoo!

Well those "pixels" would be bad in all the pics, right? We spent $2.5 billion (I was corrected) on a camera with bad pixels? I want my money back.
