This is extremely unsettling. Any US Army in here that can give some opinions? know anybody that is an internment specialist? Especially in the US?

What do you guys think?

Have you seen their latest ads for the position?

Doesn't look so bad, kinda like a wacky sitcom....

Stuffing American citizens into cells for lock down,
Monitoring their every move and activity,
Helping them transition back into a "normal" life,
What more could one ask for in a job in America?

Yea I know what it is. I am actually joining the army next month as an internment specialist. Due to me being colorblind its really the only job I can pick.

All it is is a job where your a prison guard and you guard the various military prisons around the country.
its not a guantamino bay sorta thing where you detain terrorists.

You would be surprised how many people get put into jail from the army for alot of very different things.

But no it shouldn't be disturbing to you. Just think of it as a cool name for prison guard.

I am actually in the military and have been for over 7 years. The military has prisons, has forever, and it seems like this job being opened up is a way to move the MPs out of the position and into more police type missions. This is another one of those situations where people are trying real hard to make something out of nothing.

I think the world is getting too paranoid now. Just because the internet.

If he looked up the MOS for internment specialist he would have known in shorter time than there was to create a thread.
