Again a grey alien head object on Mars

In the past there has been much discussion over images we get back by NASA from Mars.
Mainly we have as humans the ability to see things which people sometimes say are things we like to see.
Every rover, lander , satelite which sends us images and we see things like alien heads. Like the famous mountain which looks like an alien head.
Now we have yet again a landing of a rover on Mars, the MSL or Curiosity rover. It has already sended us great images and panorama's.

From one of those panorama images it sended back to us I made a crop and enlarged a portion of it.
This because yet again there is a grey alien look a like head on Mars in this image.

that is without doubt........ a rock.........

it has no resemblance to a head of any kind or are my eyes just not seeing it?

I can see what you mean but that's certainly a rock, you must be experiencing pareidolia.

Wanting to get a second opinion I turned to my mrs and said "what do you think that looks like?" she said "a rock?", "agreed" I nodded.

Sometimes a rocks just a rock.

That's a grey alien statue head? SERIOUSLY?

We had better be very careful probing these rocks don`t want to be upsetting the Aliens probing their dead.

You have been a member here since 2003. I can't even imagine the number of mars photos you've looked at posted, claiming to be unusual Mars artifacts.

That you may think this is anything other than a photo of a rock...well...it boggles my mind....

More interesting the insect like thing in front of the rover. Tried to darken it..

Reminds me of the one they saw on Venus.

I personally believe in life forms from other planets and UFO's from other planets too.

I really enjoyed looking at the photo taken on Mars; but what you have highlighted looks like a rock to me.

my paredolia must be on the fritz

cause i cant make head or tails how anybody could see that as a head

OP I agree, it looks like a Gray/Asgard (if you watch stargate), but.......it is just a rock.

Sometimes the mind sees what we want to see, because, well, it's cool.

What? Why? It being a dead half buried aardvark is just as logical and plausible as it being a gray alien head.
